Drop Transmog Armor Type Restrictions

It seems relevant. If you’re not making the connection I guess we can just move on.

Well, that just circles back to

It matters to me.

That’d feel pointless. It’s not like there’d be a mechanical difference, so it’d just be a questline to train to look like I’m wearing leather.

Every bit of distinction between classes and races and anything else like that in game that erodes away just moves the game more toward us moving around meaningless hot-swappable loadouts as far as I’m concerned.

You say that now, but people will ask for that next.

People already call for racials to be removed, so your race will mean nothing. How long before we can swap classes on the same character so I can just decide whether I’m a NE priest one hour or a Tauren warrior the next?

idk

Everyone has their lines, this is one of mine. I won’t ever agree with it.

The picture you showed me doesn’t look like any class.

It’s kind of like making a cowboy outfit in WoW and letting every class wear it. I have no problem with that. I don’t want a Mage running around in Paladin Tier2 or vice versa. :dracthyr_shrug:

So, to stop whatever confusion here…do you agree or disagree with that?

Edit: Maybe Blizzard needs to rename items that can be worn by any class to something other than cloth. That could help with confusion.

But you said:

So if we’re going the RPG aspect of training armor types… at least that’s an RPG reason to do so for transmog.

People have wanted battlemages for a long time. So let 'em be through a questline and transmog.

Are we looking at the same picture?

Is it showing up funny on your sceen?

At this point the cat is out of the bag. Just go all in and rip the bandaid off.

I think we get it.

Agree to disagree then.

These people won’t stop until your raid/dungeon/bg group looks like a Fortnite lobby, John Wick healing Sponge Bob with Spider-Man and Peter Pan DPSing. It is truly saddening.

When that day comes, I shall sit back and rest for my work shall truly be done.

As a OG Rp’er, no. They would lose class identity. It’s bad enough we have undead hunters and armor plated necromancers :upside_down_face:  Ijs even though a Druid is a jack of all trades as a class, they STILL retain their class identity thru their specific look.

Yep, same picture. You just didn’t like my reply and that is fine. :dracthyr_shrug:

That very specific look might have something to do with their forms.

Your opinion is fine. I just don’t think we see the same thing when we look at that picture.

No, and your just being disagreeable. Have a good day :v:t5:

You sure? Like I really feel like that iconic duid look has alot to do with the forms they use.

No.

Sifting through every leather shirt I own is already tedious enough, I don’t need to dig through every shirt of every other armor type I have too.

Too many people in this game are curmudgeon and hate change.

Yes, some people would create ugly looks- but for people that are actually good at making transmogs, it would open so many great possibilities.

It would be likely be good for subs by creating reasons to farm/collect more on alts that don’t wear the same armor type.
