I never played TBC. Im a cata baby
I’m a TBC baby, but I didn’t really do much of anything besides level.
Only thing we have is a rumor that says April 20th for prepatch and 2 weeks later for launch.
It was right about everything else /shrug.
That jives with my rumor: beta in march, release in may.
Five dollars says we won’t see TBC launch in May.

Wasn’t. It claimed that everyone would be forcibly moved to BC, with a paid option to copy to original-Classic realms, and that Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep would be live when BC launched.
In other words, the supposed “leak” had a fairly good set of guesses about what Blizzard was going to do, which happened to be close to (but not actually the same as) what Blizzard is actually doing.
May is unlikely. August, while probably when it will launch, feels kinda late.
