Drek or KEK

Map is just slightly horde favored.

This isn’t the classic map bud, you’re living in the past.

Classic map was massively horde favored.

As someone that got blitz years ago, i can assure you if horde play any defense whatsoever, drek or kek is not a viable strat in the majority of situations

For once I’d like an aspect of the game that’s untainted by sweaties.

You seem triggered.

Yeah, only if Alliance refuse to defend. When all of them charge south, SHGY is an issue. If they actually split offense/defense, the Alliance might even have the advantage.

(But don’t tell them… They like to cry about the map.)

It’s really not imbalanced.

I think IBGY is better than SHGY.

Horde lose IBGY they spawn at FWGY.

Alliance lose SHGY they give up 95% of the map losing 1 Graveyard.

Losing it is usually their fault though most of Classic.

This strategy is done by alliance alts with horde mains, they’re doing it purposely to cause alliance to lose.

idk how we go from getting max honor and winning every game back to this?

like what? what mental gymnastics happened here

Queues dropped which brought the AFKers out of the woodwork.

Love your name, so cute.

Not really.

We are forced to defend it while horde are not forced to defend IBGY back then because the cave Rez was right next to it.

Alliance had to always keep people off offense to defend SHGY or we just Auto lose the game.

Horde could zerg with a full 40 on offense because even if they lost ibgy they would just Rez at their cave with up to 20 per Rez now.

Idk how people still don’t understand what was wrong with the classic map.

The horde already won TBC, so why interfere with their victory lap?

Folks say this, but I barely get hvh now. And my ques have gone from 40 mins to 1.5

This is literally how the pattern always goes for alliance. Win convincingly. Others join. Others want fast games. Start to move back to races. Start losing more but games are faster and honor is similar win or lose. Pvp stops happening. Horde eventually decides to defend more. Horde starts winning. Alliance leave av. Alliance starts premade groups. Premade groups do actual pvp and win games. Alliance join and also pvp but can no longer easily premade. Alliance starts to push for faster games.

Every time.

Sounds like either lots more Alliance are queuing (unlikely), or lots of Horde quit (likely).

This is why I thought it was hilarious that the horde were crying this much.

AV Pre-mades last a week or two at MOST.

Eventually too many pugs and too many pugs who want a drek or kek loss.

I just want to clarify for the noobs…drek or kek literally means rushing drek, which is what the alterac blitz was. Getting and defending gys and towers is not drek or kek, it is playing AV as intended, except the new meta seems to mean not pvp, not backcap and not really defend anything. That is not drek or kek, that is just subpar playing for the sake of a perceived efficiency at hph. We literally had someone explain that win or lose we get the most honor rushing through av. That is why we lose…we are simply handing over the game. 330 honor per 600-800 bonus honor is a no brainer to me. Last week every match was the latter in roughly the same time we are now getting the former. Congrats on playing yourselves.

This strat is easily countered by holding IB choke till SF caps. I got several wins this way.

You couldn’t counter it at all, let alone easily when my priest (not in a premade) won 19 out of 21 in a row using it. When horde defended IBGY, we just slaughtered them there. It actually made it easier for us and was fun farming.
