I did when it was the daily. Won the first one which was about 15 Drek or Kek, 25 chokepoint farm.

Won by killing Drek after 2 towers capped which were also the FW towers.

How disappointing, av was actually fun and had pvp for like two days now it’s back to an ignore each other pve race.

Alliance was winning like 90% of AVs that multi-week span where the premade discord was up, but seems like that’s ended.

Yeah this is just a repeat of the cycle that happened in p6. Premades dominated to the point where Alliance controlled AV. More Alliance join and eventually outnumber the premaders. Pugs go for max HPH and drown out the premade strat with calls for Drek or Kek. Horde see more wins and start trickling back into AV. Horde coming back to AV increase their queue times which cause the horde strategy to slowly revert to scorched earth strat and the cycle begins again.

Drek or Kek doesn’t work. Every AV I’ve been in that tried that recently has lost.

What works is clashing in mid, killing leakers, and backcapping, and then pushing forward from Iceblood. This is the strat that had been winning us 90% of games since last weekend.

However the HPH morons would rather force a loss by doing their dumb strat.

I’ve won some seek or keks today but you end of losing every tower , feels like less honor than how people were playing. Dunno could be wrong

I don’t understand this thread. Alliance have been telling me for weeks that they can’t win in AV because the map favors horde and horde are unkillable machines with auto win racials. But there are people in this thread saying they can win if they take strategic positions on the map and kill horde players.

I feel like someone has lied to me.

Yes the map was imbalanced, back in Vanilla Classic. Horde would arrive at SHGY as soon as the Alliance got there, and began crushing them on their way to Vann.

Now there is no excuse. Alliance loses because of dumb strats and afkers. Last AV I saw one running into a cart near Iceblood tower. The AV queue had gone back down to three minutes, and surprise they are back.

This 100%. When I call them out in chat they say they don’t care about winning, only fast games win or lose.

You can only run to drek if horde lets you, which they won’t. Only a true noob thinks Drek or kek is remotely viable.

Because both teams get 300-500 honor per game win or lose. And they games go much faster. I fail to see the problem with the current alliance strat. Works well for both teams.

Probably for the same reason the Horde stops doing base races and goes back to turtling.

The majority of the playerbase that picked blue sees it as the optimal choice. And no matter how much you argue with them, the ocean of morons wins out in AV eventually.

Drek or KEK is not a bad strat at all, it’s just people being very bad.
