How is this guy doing that? He wont respond to whispers and its annoying! I tried transmogging my daggers as outlaw to dreadblades and going assassination and it does not work.
Any idea how he’s doing this? Thanks!
Also, I saw him on Pikaboos stream in a game and they were transmogged to dreadblades during the match when he was subtlety
I think you can transmog artifact weapons no matter what weapon you have

Are you sure he didn’t just use a sword offhand and mog it to a dreadblade? You can do that as sub.

A lot of times the armory doesn’t update for a while.
He was probably outlaw and logged out as assassination and while his gear shows daggers the actual picture on the armory has not updated.

But both of his weapons are daggers on is armory?

So it usually what happens is the spec would change and gear would update but the picture stays the same so if u go on me for example I changed my whole mog in the game and my spec so my spec on armoury changed and gear but the picture stays the same

If it were just the pictures that would be a good enough explanation, but it’s been long enough for the armory to update and even without, it does mention the daggers being mogged
Next chance I get to log in I’ll see if I can duplicate it at all

From what ive seen it revolves around an old pvp mog. you could change the dagger to the mog and if you mogged the weapon to that dagger it would show up as the mog u want. Seen an assass rogue dw thunderfurys and it said they were mogged to gladiator daggers (idk which season its been a minute)

You’ll notice the transmog says “The Dreadblades”, if the artifact appearance, not an individual appearance. You could equip anything and it’ll overwrite. I’m using the Felo’melorn appearance on my staff.

Someone posted on reddit about how to do it on warrior just take the principle and apply it to rogue.

Here’s how it works.
As outlaw you can mog both weapons to the dread blades using the “legendary” drop down.
However once you swap to sub the dagger would go back to being a dagger.
If you’re sub and use a sword/mace/axe/fist oh you can go under swords and mog just the one sword.
If you whisper me in game, I will tell you

I think you do it as an OH on outlaw spec 1st. I know in outlaw i can mog my offhand dagger as artifact

Stand next to a transmog npc and be whatever spec you want to copy the appearance from and in this case put your dagger in your first weapon slot and choose the appearance but do not hit apply. Once you’ve done that start switching to sub or sin whatever spec you want it for and at .1s before the cast finishes for changing specs hit apply. If you did it right it’ll have the appearance of the outlaw weapons on your daggers.
Don’t know why people are acting high and mighty like this is some top secret information. Oh no somebody posted it on the forums!

Guess what blizzard did today! They fixed the method that rogues can transmog their daggers into any of the legion sword artifacts. The reason why we kept it secret is because WE KNEW blizzard loves to suck the fun out of everything. So congratulations guys, you deserve it.

Well they don’t understand how BlizZard works and their mysterious ways. But yeah that is why we don’t talk about the best pick pocket spots anymore on these forums for a reason!
