Drake fang talisman loot priority

The weapon skill increase racials are largely irrelevant in PVP.

Really depends on your guild too.
Most guilds aren’t too 10/50/100 etc.

If your a LC or DKP ‘with prio’ guild, another question is ‘what do different classes get out of each raid tier?’

Feral doesn’t get much in MC/BWL, but starts getting nice stuff in AQ 40. Rogues and Furies we upgrades in AQ40 too, but Id say they more incremental compared to what feral gets.

If your giving your rogues/Furies the purple rain in BWL giving them stuff like weapons, nice tier peices (rogues not fury obv), maybe throw your 1-2 feral Druids a friggin bone.

Who’s getting the first 1-2 sets of Boots.of Shadowflame? They’re BIS for feral…but rogues like then too. Do you give them to your rogues because rogues may want them when rogues already have Tier 2 and weapons, plus jewelry drops from MC/BWL they probably got over feral?

You don’t stop running BWL when AQ comes out unless your guild blows. Maybe you consider giving your DFT to a rogue/fury later.if they got a Nef weapon or a CTS/Maladath.

My guild is pretty good to me, but big ticket items are usually prio’d to rogues over me, as they can push more dps with it. All the big leather items were prio’d to our feral tank over rogues though, as it should be.

Sounds like you’ve never actually seen it in action. I tank during class call just fine. Yes it’s more dangerous for me, but I have enough hp to survive it just fine.

Im not the one who log shamed someone for the clear time in a discussion about prio of dft. ( like I can force 39 other people to reroll optimal classes, specs, 290 engineering etc.).

The MT should get the first one, then distribute them to the rogues. If you were somehow guaranteed to find like 5 of them throughout your BWL farm (highly unlikely), then I’d say give the 5th one to a consistent and dedicated feral tank. In all likelihood, a guild will find 1 or 2 across months of farming BWL.

Anyone giving prio to fury warriors needs to learn how to play that class. Any rogue would rightfully and justifiably boil their raid alive if a fury dps took prio on this trinket.

Hunters, go away.

Log-shaming is the only appropriate response to being gnome-shamed. It was easy.

If you’re gonna log shame someone shame their parses (its legitmately hard to parse blue as feral) not the fact that the 39 other people in their guild can’t carry them. smh

I don’t think boss-parses are a good metric. You could just wait for your CD’s each time and parse high with very little risk.

Imo the important parse is the overall parse in comparison to the rest of the raid.

Feral druids don’t have any cooldowns, if we had something like recklessness we would be as good if not better than rogues for pure boss dps.

Also iirc logs where you waited for cooldowns to come up before a boss do not count.

Non Human Warrior Tank > Bear Tank > Rogue > Fury Warrior

Do it any other way and you’re prolly doing something wrong.

Realistically all ferals need are better/more weapon options. MCP farming is not a good feeling and neither is having to powershift.

Giving priority to an offtank doesn’t make sense.

I know I’m biased but I think it should be

MT>Rogue/Feral DPS>warrior>OTs

With Heroic Strike queueing Warrior benefits very little from the hit if at all where was Rogue gets full benefit.

If you log out they don’t count.

But on the topic of feral tanks. If they don’t tank, are they able to contribute to raid-dps in a significant way?

Because imo that’s another reason next to threat issues in favor of warriors. Fury warriors with 9k+ health can tank whilst fury prot warriors can DPS on fights where they don’t tank.

I agree 100% with this. The meta of tossing aggro management out the window is garbage.

This makes no sense. You always have to manage aggro. People simply optimized the game to a point where threat can be held from the first global onwards.

In a speedrun setting Feral Tanks are not very good as they lack the AOE abilities like bladeflurry or any sort of effective physical cleave. Bears only bring Faerie Fire but you may as well just use a feral cat for FF and they will do more raid dps.

The majority of players do not play in a speedrun setting though, I think its good to keep in mind most of us do not discuss this in a speedrun or ultra-competetive manner.

I agree, who needs brez and innervate, anyway?

I personally don’t value any parse at all highly. The game is easy, and there is no tangible benefit to overkilling. Its effort that I can use to play with my kitty and jam to music instead. Those things make me happier than big yellow numbers XD

I agree, which is why these threads have little value. We can always argue what does better on paper but let’s say you’re a senior officer and very experienced feral tank, invest heavily into the guild and perform beyond expectations in your guilds raids. Ofc you should get the items to continue to do well.

Loot-rules are guild specific for a reason, there is no one-size fits all. Ideally they advance the guilds overall goals but even that often times doesn’t happen.
