Dragonriding, so fun I want to smash my keyboard

Uh, excuse me sir, but I understand that. Why is it our problem though? Its not like we voted to have it in game. Blizz decided to do it, and we enjoy it. Are we supposed to ask for a refund because some players dont like it?

Not saying it is anyone’s problem maybe have a little bit more compassion for those less fortunate who deal with a disability or motion sickness and can not enjoy the game.

Or get the glyphs and glide/fly indefinitely. It’s easy and takes like 30 mins to get the glyphs. I don’t stop anywhere between A and B now.

I call bullcrap, all 48 glyphs in 30 min. no way

Ok. Then walk everywhere like you would normally untill you would unlock flying. Not only is it faster and more fun than normal flying, but it’s so nice to have a version of flying at the beginning. And hell it takes like 30 mins to get a good chunk of runes to where you barely ever have to land.

Edit: anyone else miss dragon flying when they return to the main land. It’s so wierd when you don’t have it anymore and slow

Ok if dragon riding is sooo superior who or what would it hurt to let other have regular flying.

Choice is a good thing.

And when did anyone ever get normal mount riding this early in an expansion. It’s not replacing flying but substituting it for something else so that we don’t have to walk everywhere till end game

Imagine being too stupid to understand how to fly a dragon

Then play without dragonriding

For those willfully obtuse droning on about how we never get flying at the start of an expansion, may I point out that we’ve never had an expansion where the zones are designed around you being able to fly? It is perfectly logical to expect Blizzard to unlock normal flying at the start for players who don’t like feeling so “engaged” with the mini-game. Enjoy your races and let the rest of us quest and gather at our own pace.
Nobody likes being forced to do something they don’t care for.

because this is a interactive role-playing game and not Candy crush.

All I had to do was press space bar and land at one point to get some extra vigor for the last push for that one. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

A tip, look up more when using the space bar ability to get more air, go back to the normal angle you are flying at before the animation ends. When you get most of the upgrades you should have 100% air time and quickly generate vigor faster than you should need to use it once you have some speed.

It isn’t fun until you have all the glyphs. Until then: fly, sit, fly, sit, fly, sit …

Yes. It’s sort of in glide mode until you get all the glyphs. The glyph collecting is fun, but it might have been a mistake to start players with essentially a glider. Once you get everything you don’t need to start/stop anymore. It’s a big change.

I had minimal glyphs and had fun. Figuring out ways to improve distance is fun. You can move around the map so insanely fast and there is skill involved to spice it up. It feels like that seen where Luke Skywalker is flying through the woods dodging trees.

I was going to do one of the loops at Ruby Life Shrine today but I had a little trouble getting up to the landing and burned through 3 of my bubbles just to get up to where the flag was and so I gave up and went back to questing.

I hope I’m never in a group with you if you can’t figure out simple mechanics

Do… do you think birds don’t get tired and have to stop flying sometimes? :face_with_monocle:

I think you have a different definition of skill.
