Flying has been in the game since 2007. For all those “glory days” flying was available right at max level and lasted the rest of the expansion.

Its hilarious when they pretend like flight just popped up in the game in WoD or something, lmao.
CONTENT is what makes or breaks this game. Flight has nothing to do with it being good or not.
Such as, Drustvar. Such a fantastic zone to play. Loved the entire witch theme going. The little girl was as creepy as anything a good movie as to offer.
flight, or lack of it, had NOTHING to do with the zone being good or bad. It was the writing…the story and the questing and the personality of it that made that zone great.

Instead of exploring a new and unfamiliar land, we are just skipping over everything, basically teleporting from one objective to the next. Gone are the days of getting to know the landscape, taking in the atmosphere and getting to feel at home. Nothing on the ground matters anymore. We just take off, most likely flying above the trees, so we’re not even seeing the zone, and rush to the next quest marker.

So just explore on the ground instead of wanting to bring everyone down to your level.

Flying should be available in a zone at the start, middle and end. No reason not to have it.

Ok, the section of the OP that my first statement was in response to was where the guy is talking about the ability to fly in a zone being the reward for finishing the zone.
My point in response to this was to say that once you’ve finished the zone, having the ability to fly there is a hollow reward because you’ll be moving on to another zone right away and likely not returning for some time.
This period of time exploring and questing in other zones will give you rep etc toward the pathfinder, which actually does seem like an achievement and flying a suitable reward for all of your hard work on the ground.
Now why couldn’t you read the OP thoroughly and discern that this is what my comment was about, and why did you have to come in trolling hard when you clearly didn’t understand the context?
Is that something you do often?

“Finished with a zone” means you’ve done all the quests there. “Never go back” means you never go back to a zone. I’m not trolling. I’m literally reading the words you type. Words have meaning. Remember that for next time.

swooping around aimlessly or while picking herbs even though herb prices are absolutely worthless at this point… anyway swooping around is legit one of my favorite things to do. it’s a lot of fun.

I really never understood the whole mentality of this whole " The longer it takes to do something the better it is ". I just want to get what i want done and in a timely manner. Dragonriding/dynamic flight is one of the best things added to WoW in a long while and I am glad we will have it day 1 going forward.

If you want to stop and smell the roses then be my guest, just don’t force me to slow down for your weird vision of what the game should be for everyone. Not everyone want’s to stare at the walls and admire the textures of every little thing in the game.
