Dragonriding is mandatory there is no way to opt out

Every day I look at this forum I’m subject to someone’s unfiltered terrible viewpoint

That isn’t a good solution with the way Dragon Riding is designed with Dragon Flight.

That will cause friction with some players and maybe for others it isn’t a big deal. I still view it as a big flaw in game design to not have an opt out feature.

Dragon Riding should have been optional from day 1, but that is my opinion.

Well DR “improves” if you unlock everything but that feels wrong for a feature of the expansion.

But that goes back to my original point there should be an opt out option for those that do not want to participate in that aspect of dragon riding or DR itself.

You have not played a lot of GW2 have you?

I don’t want to kill any creatures in the game but wow has this combat feature forced on the players and it’s not opt out. I can’t complete the story line without killing and it’s creating friction and blizzard needs to fix this right now. It’s also an accessibility problem because players who are pacifists can’t complete the game.

Blzz, fix nao!

Right.

I wish people good luck if they love dragon riding and have fun! But for those of us that can not opt out we are in the dark.

Well they do love their borrowed power with each expansion, pretty much impossible to opt out of any of them for many years now. It just happen to be based around a mount instead of some magical weapon or necklace. Even without knowing the ins and outs of this expansion I expected it.

I respect your opinion but I personally do not find killing fun and it should be an opt in feature. But there is no way to opt out and it is causing friction for the community.

big facts. and its even forced participation for a few of the mini games with that one rep.

I honestly think GW does it better.

I was hoping that BlizZard would add the BlizZard polish to improve upon it but that is not to be. Which is okay but it should not be mandatory.

Player agency should matter from my view.

Let people opt out of dragon riding.

What do you have against people who prefer old flying? :face_with_monocle:

Fun is subjective and more people on these forums ought to respect that, other then treating it like politics, as in trying to morally judge others for not agreeing with them…

But…you’re a dwarf! You all live to forge, drink and fight! I mean you even use guns, tanks and cannons!

I understand why they want people to be engaged around dragon riding but to make it mandatory doesn’t feel right to me.

I feel like BlizZard doesn’t understand why people dislike being forced to do something that they do not like.

I like the WoW GM team and the BiizZard artists as they are AAA+ in the industry.

What do you like about WoW?

No. You can’t. People who don’t understand these disorders need to not speak about them.

Yes, but there’s an easy accessibility option for it: release normal flying in about a month.
