I understand why blizzard wants dwarfs to engage with fighting but making it mandatory to engage with it doesn’t seem right. To me.
I feel like BlizZard doesn’t understand why people dislike being forced to do something that do not like.

I want to be able to shoot fireballs and have abilities like fire shield, enrage, and slow like Starwars the old republic Starfighter.
It’s shameful that SWTOR’s 2014 expansion is ahead of Blizzards 2022 expansion.
Honestly…legit…what were they thinking designing it all like this?
Personally speaking I am a super casual player, but even for me this is a bridge too far.

Starfighter is its own thing, though. It’s not a base part of the game. It’s a simulator PvP game separate from normal gameplay.
Walking isn’t an option with how DF zones are designed.
Ground mount travel is tedious in DF zones so I am not sure what they were trying to accomplish.

People will literally complain about anything. I guess you can just use your ground mount and get around slowly like the last few expacs.

That definition could apply to wow arena, battlegrounds, etc.
Honestly I do not know what will happen or how the wider player base will receive the expansion and DR. But the matter at hand is that there is no opt out options and that to me a design flaw they should have considered DAY ONE of designing this new system.
It is what it is but a shame this wasn’t considered a potential cause of concern when it was on the drawing board early on.
Let this be a lesson of having to take your time and consider all player feedback.
