Flying isn’t player power.
Just roll a druid.
I didn’t have access to the BETA, I don’t know if it will be fun or not.
I’ve been testing SOAR and it’s fun…very short fun.
Truth be told, I prefer something like this, a “limited flight” and that I can gain more flight time as time goes on, to having no way to fly at all and being grounded for 6 months to a year.
To be honest, I’d rather Blizzard stop doing these things that no one asked for and that very few people like.
People want to fly from day one.
If players have a problem with getting killed a million times by the opposing faction then players always have the option to not enter War Mode.
That being said, Dragonriding is the perfect middle ground.
It’s better this “limited flight” than the Pathfinder stupidity we had for 4 expansions.
It doesn’t make sense that Blizzard allows you to fly only to spend the last 6 months in a zone where you can’t fly and that’s where everything relevant happens.
If they have a friend to play with they can use the ride along feature.
Possible but I am not willing to speculate or put my tin foil hat that far out.
Right now I am looking at the immediate future and that is that DragonRiding is going to be loved or hated by the player base.
Such is life.
I wonder about that. I was on the beta and dragonriding takes a bit if a mining node is right above me. I gotta fly a certain way to get to it.
And if they don’t, they’re just out of luck.
cool so just stick to ground mounts until regualr flying is unlocked like they said it would be
At a base it’s difficult to go up.
But as you level it up you get more vigor charges and faster recharge on them (both on the ground and while flying) so it gets a lot easier to go upwards.
Well since Dragon Riding is superior than normal flying then we do not see any harm with releasing normal flying in 30 days.
Seems like a modest request.
Oh yeah I was on the most basic dragon with no upgrades.
Sorry but dragon riding is some of the most fun I have had in WoW in a long time. I love the races and speed courses. I only allowed myself to try them in the first zone of BETA but OMG! I can’t wait to unlock everything this feature has to offer.
Went back to retail and even my 310% mounts feel slow now.
Why would you want to opt out of one of the expansion’s main features? It literally makes getting around the map easier and honestly it looks fun.
I mean you do you, but saying it’s “problematic” is just weird to me.
Have fun on your land mount I guess. xD
That would suck for sure but how many players are disabled to the point where they can’t use Dradonriding AND they have no friends to play with? That sound like a Hallmark special.
Understandable.
If you don’t like it. Just wait until they add flying normal in it.
It is not a big deal to wait and all.
I just don’t see blizzard doing that.
They put a lot of work into this system and I think they want folks to try it for longer than 30 days.
you can opt out
just don’t do it
same as anything else in the game
Difficult with the way Dragonflight is designed unfortunately.
For those that have issues with dragon riding or they do not find it fun it seems that they are being left out of the party which is a shame.
I understand that not everything can be made accessible. However, a large portion of the player base will feel left out of participating in this expansion’s outdoor content. But as we all know it is the endgame systems in instances that drives WoW though at level cap and not outdoor content.
That’s going to be tough with the design of the zones.
