A lot has changed in the 10-12 years since we really played together, but I am sure that is the case for most of you. I hope you all are doing well, and feel free to gank me if you see me.

I played a gnome warrior in ascension and prominence called Tallea. I PvPed with a lot of familiar names in this thread. Did the grind to rank 11 before burning out, quitting, then came back for cata.
I was RL friends with the likes of loneserpent, Voltoor, and Wewa… All sovereign staples. Also played at the Internet cafe that was owned and ran by the infamous Iddyott, the tauren warrior who grinded rank 14 by back peddling in pvp and clicking all of his abilities.
Hope everyone enjoyed the vanilla experience again. Unfortunately I just didn’t have the time :(… But, ah well, some of my most fondest gaming memories came from dragonmaw.
I am Soraka - human mage who never leveled to 60 and then rerolled to gnome mage (also Soraka is pronounced Sore-uh-kuh not So-rock-uh and if that doesn’t bring back memories, we were never friends). Bangin - 60 Gnome Fire Mage - PvPer
Dueled in front of Ironforge often. Grinded Commander and held R11 on Alliance as “Bangin” for 13+ Months while raiding w/ . Played in premade WSG/AB teams with Heavenslight (r11-14), Prophecy (r9-14), Ashlionheart (r7-14). Lots of solo world PvP in BRM and Silithus.
Rerolled Horde and played as UD Fire Mage, “Khrayne”. Grinded R11 and played on honor-farm teams with players like Sic (Orc War.) & Iddyott (Tauren War.).
Re-rerolled back to Alliance and re-grinded back up to R11 and held the rank until TBC release.
Memorable players / stories:
-Grievous Christ walked among us
-I remember first seeing Reflex at level 32 ganking horde at Nessingwary’s in STV.
-I played Prophecy’s last 700k cap weekend for GM honor-grind after he burned out
-Splatzilla is the realest G and best friend out there
-Shennanigans used to let me play his lock for AQ40 farm runs with Prominence
-Ashlionheart was Dragonmaw’s longest r1-14 grind, and was a personal friend and hero for rockin’ the unconventional Survival 2H style (and getting 2k Raptor Strike crits to back it up). Also dude was literally a wrestler IRL.
-Ascension, Unity, and Trinity all rejected my guild applications and I ended up in .
-Avine was a good Human Mage who dueled in front of IF often
-One time could not kill the last boss in ZG, so I asked Shennanigans and Prophecy to help us out. They joined and we had Prophecy 2H tank Hakkar while Shennanigans was literally 50% of the damage done to boss, with Prophecy being 2nd on damage.
-When I was Horde as Khrayne I had an UD priest friend and we’d grief lowbies in Ashenvale between WSG queues by keeping players stuck in Sheep or Mind Control for long periods of time. Once we kept a 22 NE hunter polymorphed and mind controlled for 3 hours; we mind controlled him and made him kill his own pet repeatedly, and then mind controlled him and made him drown himself in a shallow stream over and over again. He kept logging off for 20 minutes and then logging back in and trying to quest, but we’d find him again. It ended when I sheeped him on a stump and he fell through the world and stopped logging in. (We kept using the /friend trick to see his online/offline status.)
-Wall jumping into all the amazing crevices in Ironforge (ie. top of IF bank) and Silithus and around Winterspring into the mountain troll-village I used to AoE farm at. Did a lot of Wall jumping exploration with friends <3
-Dueling at the indoors Ironforge spot near the Battlemasters queue location, with the glitched corner that counted as outdoors
-When AV went live all the days/weeks of endless PvP in Tarren Mill / South Shore; living that back-of-the-zerg, four-frames-per-second honor-grinding life
-Those long 3-day+ AV games with Zizek at 1000+ killing blows
-Doing a joint-MC raid with and and their 22-23 members Hearthstoning out of the raid to defend Ashenvale, right before pulling Garr
