Dragonfliight, flying. Any word?

You keep forgetting the “IMO”, just because you love it does not mean everyone will.
For those that suffer from motion sickness, they have every reason to question this new feature, how do you compare your experience to their experience.

I’m in the alpha and have played with it pretty extensively. Have you?

One of the youtube reviewers also suffers from motion sickness. Initially she experienced motion sickness in the Alpha.

Fortunately, Blizzard already thought about this problem and added a whole bunch of graphics settings specifically to address motion sickness. She found that by playing around with those settings she was able to enjoy Dragon Riding without any motion sickness.

I’m going to wait and see on that one. I have a sneaking suspicion based on past development that it’ll be implemented in the most annoying way they can think of.

I’m not purchasing any of it until I see what goes live.

You logged on and your first thought was to make a random compliant without even taking a couple of minutes to look into the very thing that you’re expressing outrage about? If this doesn’t encapsulate what the forums are generally like then I don’t know what does.

Actually they said there wasn’t going to be flying at all before community backlash made them (possibly begrudgingly) add Pathfinder achievements that kept flying locked until a few weeks into 6.2.

No I have not, but just because you love it does not mean I will.

Each player has a different point of view and I am sure that some that are doubting the new feature may not deliver on the promise will change their minds after testing it out, just as I am sure there will be some who after testing it out will not want to touch it again.

My major issue is that this will release as intrinsically tied to story, gameplay and progression, just like garrison which was touted to be 100% optional but in reality, was mandatory.

Litteraly in the relase videos when they revealed dragonflight they said later on normal flying will be available

I hope that it does bring some relief to those players that do have motion sickness issues.
Thanks for letting us know this.

Here’s the link to Hazelnutty’s video on Youtube where she describes Dragon Riding.

She talks about her concern about motion sickness at the 4 minute mark in the video.

Did you bother doing, like, a five second search before making this post?

i hope flying gets deleted once and for all…

I find some people are just being deliberately intellectually obtuse when it comes to hating on dragon riding, and will die on that hill alone if they have to. It’s really telling. About them. Not about dragon riding, seeing as there seems to be a resounding ‘Love it’ from the testers as a whole.

I can’t help but feel that the same people who are so heavily anti this are also somewhat anti the inclusivity changes (I’d love to be wrong about this though).

You claimed to have experienced it fully upgraded and that others should wait until they also experience it fully upgraded.

You have not experienced it fully or even remotely unlocked other than the very basics.

Where did I claim to experience it fully unlocked?

Bold text for you

Yeah, that is not a quote of me saying that I played with it fully unlocked.

So you are telling folks how great dragon riding will be when fully maxxed out and to hold off on their bashing of it until then, …
.
when you havent experienced it maxxed out yourself and are doing exactly what you are asking other not to do.

No, I said what I tested was extremely fun. It is pretty logical to speculate that the fully leveled version would be even better, which is why I mentioned it. I never said I played with the fully leveled version, that is just bad reading comprehension on your part.
