You’ve literally already asked this before and afterwards you replied something to the extent of “I don’t know you and I’m not going to bother learning”, lol. Actual NPC.

Gimme that War of the Ancients expansion. Blackrook Hold in its prime, Zin’Azshari, Suramar before the Nightwell.
… yes?
Danoozer being a hack and then saying “Okay, if you don’t like my story, I’m just not going to write one” doesn’t make him less of a hack. Quitting your job that you’re struggling at doesn’t somehow make you less terrible at it. They just need to hire better creative types.

Razsageth and the Primalists are hands-down THE least compelling antagonist we’ve ever seen in World of Warcraft ever. One of the few times I’ve ever felt a lack of motivation narratively to want to raid, and it is in part because there’s just no real stakes.

Eh its Chaos versus Order so they do fine with that job in mind.
To my recollection, no? I’m asking you what you know of the actual zone plots and overarching 10.0 plot thread. That’s it.
Don’t try to tell me I said something I didn’t unless you can show me I said it. Elaborate or shut up.
/looks into Dragonflight
It appears their plot in Dragonflight has changed. Now they believe in the coming of another aspect-- the older concept was so cool though.
Also the primalists not being a threat?
If the dragons were “free” from the titans, then say hello to multiple Galakronds and cases like Deathwing and Murozond.
That’s a pretty big threat if you ask me

Cataclysm: Aspects lose powers and proclaim it’s the time of the mortal now.
Dragontales: Just kidding!
The lore in this game is pure garbage lol.

To be fair we were doing a crap job so I don’t blame Azeroth trying to kickstart the dragons back up lol

We did more than the dragons ever did.
Like ever lol.

I think it’s more to do with the threat posed by the primalists. Not so much “Just kidding” as, “We’ve made a terrible mistake.”

They stopped The Legion when they tried to come in.
Along with their actual jobs as Aspects
Still did their jobs as aspects for thousands of years.
Dragonflights just more a “we can work together in this new age” rather than going “PSYCHE” on us mortals
What expansion had a compelling narrative and/or lore beyond Wrath exactly?

Emerald Dream. Time itself. Magic itself. Alexstrasza helping to take care of all the dragon eggs in Waking Shores.
That’s not nothing

Danuser saw those posts about retconning everything that happened after the Wrath of the Lich King and took the players seriously at their word. Undoing the Aspects giving up their powers. Creating a zone inspired by Northrend. Trying Catacylsm again but without Old Gods (which let’s be real, the Primalists are just the grade-school version of Twilight’s Hammer if you took away Deathwing, the Elemental Lords, and Old God influence).
Even setting up Hour of Twilight Version 2.0 if all the hints are to be believed.
That’s pretty much nothing. They did so little that two of them went completely insane with a third one going to go insane at a future point.
The one thing that I’m kind of disappointed with about the story is that is doesn’t feel new, like a new expansion should. I mean, wasn’t Dragonblight in Northrend supposed to be the ancestral home of the dragonflights? You had proto-dragons, that big tower, and the little homes for each flight. And then the skeleton of the Father of all Dragons or whatever.
And then in Cata, we had whole questlines with the Storm Drakes, which seem nearly identical to the main villains in the “new” story. So, really, it almost feels that they rehashed old expansion to come up with this one. Still could be fun though.
NGL this made me laugh because this has 100% been one of my main criticisms of SL… that it made all the same stupid trying to force players into being better than they are and can be mistakes cata made.
Along with the crime of being boring too…
