As a filthy casual, who has only run heroic dungeons in current tier, this is a great change. Looking forward to being able to die for standing in fire and boss fights taking more than 10 seconds to kill.
If current mythic 0 = new heroic, does that mean a change to the dungeon difficulty requirements for Glory of the Dragonflight Hero or Put That Thing Back Where It Came From? Without a change, it seems that it would be putting these achievements further out of reach. Or should I be rushing to complete these before 10.3?
This sorta worries me, as the new +10 will be required for vault mythic options, and we will be grouping with people who are not used to the third affix of any given week.
It really should be done at +4 and +7 levels of the new system (current 8 and 14 cut in half)
I would like to see the 10+ keys be a little closer together in difficulty than they are now so that there is a smoother progression.
I would really really (really) love to see affixes be only seasonal affixes and not 45-second timer affixes. The reason seasonal affixes were so good was that they were tailored to the dungeon (except Thundering which was not made like the other seasonal affixes)
Aside from Thundering there was no âbadâ seasonal affix that I ever saw though I started in BFA S4. Please consider this!
Also, could Blizz drop the weekly Mythic Dungeon Quest to 1-2 dungeons then? Would be kindof annoying doing that on alts with the higher difficulty just for time sake.
If people want to do a Mythic 5 (previously known as Mythic+ 15) without a timer, they should be able to do that.
If people want to do a Mythic 5 (previously known as Mythic+ 15) with a timer, they should be able to do that too.
With either option, you should get the exact same item level rewards at the end.
If you fail to time a key, you can finish the dungeon as a group and get the rewards as if you had chosen to do a non-timed key.
There should be some extra cosmetic only rewards for players that do manage to clear dungeons fast, but players should not feel forced to rush through a dungeon just to get the highest item level gear that Mythic+ has to offer.
