But there arent 8 DF dungeons… there are 10 counting DotI
Considering we never had a season with all 8 Dragonflight dungeons in one go, since it got split 4/4 with old dungeon remakes for seasons 1 and 2, and this season only has the megadungeon as keys from the current expansion… Yeah? Why would they not do this?
Retail’s fine, quit buggin’ out.
Actually; can I make a request to have DotI Galakron’s Fall instead of Uldaman next patch?
Please I beg of you, Uldaman was a nightmare
Ignoring the ilvl scaling for a moment.
What’s an M0 now will be a heroic dungeon, meaning gear from that level will be farmable by repeatedly running heroics.
M0s will be of the difficulty of a current +10, but without fortified, tyrannical, timers, or other affixes. Meaning they’re probably nearer a +7-8 currently but again completely untimed.
You cannot. It cuts you off at a party of 5.
I like you. On a post about dungeons.
Ah, bummer.
These are good changes, interesting.
But using the affixes you used in the example…like seriously? With all the feedback about affixes we can’t get any changes? I hope there is some experimentation being done there to make M+ more fun the rest of this expansion and continue to shape the experience in The War Within.
Why are you looking for PvP changes in a S4 dungeon article?

Ty aren’t removing the timer for low keys though. They are making heroic dungeons and M0 more difficult. For higher skilled players thats fine, but for some people or alts, running a M10 can be a bit more difficult. Making an M0 equal to M10 difficulty, its limiting some of the more casual players and what they can do. For people that were doing 16 plus, it just makes it that they are running 6-10 keys instead so there isn’t a real impact there.
Better hope they keep it or trinket options will be rough.
This is brilliant! It will separate the people that wanna play casually and push harder! People that wanna play casually won’t have a timer so they can take their sweet time but people that wanna push harder in keys will have a harder time cause it will be an extra challenge. I love this idea
Looks like this will turn into one of those “make your own group” type of thing for me. No one will invite me to theirs without any points or experience with levels that high.
I don’t have alts. This is the only guy I play.
I doubt it’ll end up like that personally, given the lack of pressure and lack of impact failure will have as there’s no keys involved to be downgraded, I suspect people will in general be a lot more accomodating.
Something everyone seems to be missing here:
- Affixes would slot in at +2, +5, and +10
- +2 - Fortified/Tyrannical
- +5 - Entangling / Incorporeal etc.
- +10 - Bursting / Bolstering etc.
That would be the equivalent of no affixes until +15 and the really bad ones dont kick in until a +20.
Now consider that the loot scaling hasnt changed so what is currently a +18 and rewards Hero track in the dungeon and Myth track in the vault will become a +8.
Which means you can get Hero track end rewards and Myth track vault rewards without having to deal with the harder affixes.
Its going to make gearing alts and farming your vault easier, make currently irrelevant content worthwhile and have no real impact at all on people pushing as high as possible.
You’ll likely get both. Having any DF dungeon (DotI counts) in only ONE season of M+ would indicated failure on blizzard’s part in making that dungeon. Imagine the wasted man hours of making DOTI a M+ dungeon to only use it for 1 out of 4 seasons.
DF dungeons are the original 8 + DOTI. Count on it.
Most players are capable of an M10 if they just gave it a real shot, and definitely without a timer/affixes in the way, you are, or you’re undergeared.
This is a great change, anything that squishes numbers down to make it cleaner is better imo.
Most important takeaway:
NO MORE DAWN!!!
Rejoice
I wouldn’t be so sure about that
