Dragonflight Season 4 Dungeon Changes Ahead

Why is still going from +0 to +2?

That’s one fight out of nearly 30 though, and yes it’s because there’s a pushback and people fly off the sides.

This is a good step forward. I hope in the future the later end M+ will also loss the timers as well.

The only acceptable timer at end game content is enrage timers on bosses. If players should be punished for failuires, increase end-game gear repair costs lol.

Great change.

Just hope Mythic Dungeon could be queueable as well.

There’s still a timer on the new m+ keys. It was worded weird but I think what they meant is because current m0 is now heroic and current m10 is now m0, there’s no timers there. but there’s also no affixes. so your “low keys” will still have timers.

You guys still don’t understand that there are too many difficulties?

They can comfortably keep running the new Heroic and M0’s for the same or better reward they used to.

I mean… they just removed 10 of them.

Currently we have

Normal, Heroic, M0, M2-20 as far as what’s relevant.

Now we will have

Normal, Heroic, M0, M2-10

An M2 will be like an M12 in the old system. The old M2-10 were just outright removed.

Gravity has been an effective end boss tactic for many bosses in a row except for Fryakk!

Better yet, once we “unlock” a higher level of a keystone, just let us select the key level of the dungeon a la Torghast. Stop with the randomness and depletions and you get rid of a lot of friction between your players

tbh, the fact that these Mythic+ things have a timer on them makes me apprehensive about trying them.

I flat out don’t like being on a timer, having to rush zoom zoom zoom or else.

I would prefer something that’s like…really difficult, but you have a limited amount of respawns to survive the dungeon with. but no timer, so you can be as careful and deliberate as you need to be to survive.

Like how Destiny 2’s Nightfalls work, but just without the timer.

You probably want to ditch the weekly lockout on m0. Won’t impact me, but I can see some where it might.

If people want to run what is today’s m+10 without a timer on repeat, why not let them?

Solid question. I wonder if they’ll be lowering the score requirements for ksm/ksh instead of adjusting how much score you get per key level.

How are people supposed to farm drake crests for Champion levels 2/8 through 4/8 if there are only normal raid and eight weekly lockouts for 10 drake crests each? This seems like it will be a really painful barrier to upgrading an alt’s gear into hero grade tiers.

The way M0s currently work is you can still run them but they don’t drop loot for the bosses you’ve already killed.

Yep, if you lock basically all +2-+10 gear behind a weekly lockout, it’s going to force people into “higher” keys where they’re not able to complete them, and you just upset good players and demoralize casuals who were happy to stay in their zone before

So just no mention of pvp? What the heck

Eh, I did it first night and it wasn’t terrible, and it’s still about the hardest of DF. Just been an extremely easy lfr expansion, and SL wasn’t that much harder.

Why did you expect PvP to be mentioned in an article specifically about dungeons?
