Heroic dungeon gear upgraades to 489, which is 4 ilvls below what M0 gear will drop. Seems about right for the tracks to me.
I think what Kula is saying is that a new M0 is going to be equivalent to a current +10. Thereās not as much of a barrier between bad players (ones who currently canāt time a +12) and the keystones that some of us are actually trying to farm on alts.
What I think would really fix this would be to remove the weekly lockout from M0 to keep these casual players happy by allowing them to farm their M0, and keep stronger players happy by keeping the casuals out of M+.

There is a level of player that is going to find this really disruptive I think. Imagine if youāre used to doing +5-9 as a your comfort key, and now a +2 and even M0 dungeon is putting you face first in the dirt.
The forums are going to be on fire when this happens, and I have my snacks ready.

This is aimed at the ones who donāt want to get into timed content.
Thereās probably thousands of posts of people saying the mere existence of the timer gives them so much stress they canāt play. Even though you can close the window and going over time is a small penalty, they just canāt do it.
What in god awful development did i just read??? you want a relaxed situation where pugging doesnt feel so hard or stressful? stop decreasing the key when its being used, if its bricked due to a player in your group messing up or griefing you should not be punished for that, I couldnāt care less about timer removals in lower level keys, instead just stop lowering the key if depleted, but let players lower keys manually via npc as their own will
Heroic dungeons will just be exactly as irrelevant as current M0 dungeons are. If M0 dropped veteran, I would actually run some dungeons on my LFR-only characters. As it is, thereās no real point to run M0 and will be no point to running Heroic.

As someone who just came back to the game I see this as a good change. I have no idea of any of these dungeons so this should make learning them much easier with less stress and maybe entice some solo players to join in on group content.
Interesting changes and I will need some more time to fully digest, but from the surface the reduced number of difficulties that award increasingly powerful gear in Mythic Keystone Dungeons (nine down from nineteen) is something I have been talking about for a while. I would have liked Normal and Heroic or Heroic and Mythic to be condescend together along with reducing the number of meaningful keystone levels, but this is a good start.
Thatās only 2/4 Myth track, so 4/4 Myth should be item level 528 or 529.

KSM +5s probably, 2000 score. KSH prob like a mix of +7,+8,+9. Call it +8s timed.

To the people who do Mythic+ currently? Yes, and thatās fine.
If your endgame is M0s, then heroics will suit well for gearing and learning the dungeons before you go into the harder versions.
Have you run an LFR this expansion? You can sleep through almost every fight. The āharder than normalā trope is basically dead.
It will never go away. People play games differently than they did in 2006. People are objective driven. You cannot change this.
I still think that Heroic dungeons and Timewalking dungeons should at least be on the Veteran track so that theyāre upgradeable beyond some WQ rewards
