Dragonflight is the ugliest WoW expansion

You’re right though, they’re still low effort. But at least they’re popular and being played.

So it’s not a waste, in my eyes.

I agree with the added cartoonification. I haven’t laughed so hard at a cutscene after finishing the power of friendship campaign.

But the zones were not ugly.

They paid homage to some old favourites for me like Grizzly Hills, Nagrand and Coldarra.

I’ve never had an issue with the zones. Sure there are some I don’t like, but they are far and few between.

SL had the biggest eyesores for me. Yet I still loved Ardenweald and Revendereth aesthetically.

ironically one of the void elf complaints is that they had too much effort. they want copy and pasted blood elves

and earthen would have a much higher play rate if they gave them a variant of the dwarven racial. similar to how dark iron got it.

Dragonflight? Merlin’s beard, no! Burning Crusade takes the crown, no doubt.

cant say you’re wrong

but tww aint any better, its just bland and boring, robot dwarves and spiders boo, dont even make sense having nerubians there

I dunno, I don’t really agree. I think DF looked great.

I laughed when I saw the Earthen racial, won’t lie.

It’s probably the worst in the game, at the moment?

From both a PvP and PvE perspective.

At least the Lightforged Draenei laser is fire-and-forget lol, you don’t have to stand around and charge it.

It’s funny that ordinary Dwarves are capable of Stoneform, yet the Dwarves that are always stone are kinda crap and can’t remove debuffs.

Argus took ugly to a whole new level that has never been matched.

I hate the choice of regurgitated music that put on the login screen. Sounds very AI generated from older music.

Where else would spiders live if not in a dark place underground with lots of corners, caves and other hiding places yet still enough prey to feast on? Nerubians make much more sense for me than Hallowfall Arathi.

DF gave us Taivan, no expansion can top that.

after the bug war against the trolls, the old gods minions were weak and scattered…nerubians went north, and almost wiped out by the scourge, this new nerubian empire came out of nowhere because the current devs have no clue how wow was before shadowlands plot
nerubians are not the only type of bugs…the quiraj went south… and they are still dormant, cthun can probably come back, there is no point in using nerubians in their place

No, Doodoolands in addition to having garbage systems, garbage content and a garbage plotline, also suffers from having two flashbang-tier zones, the Maw, Maldraxxus which is just Icecrown and Argus violently mashed together but uglier, the millionth magical forest the game’s seen and some of the worst armor sets the game ever got. All around awful expansion.

There is one point: Spiders > bugs

Again, it was out of necessity. The Maw is supposed to be the worst place that ever existed, and they sort of nailed it. When you went from the Maw to Bastion and its ethereal meadows, you got that jolting Heaven/Hell juxtaposition. To me some of the most compelling areas were Korthia and Revendreth. You saw devastation with hints of past glories and wondered what had once been. I used to get similar feelings in classic Azshara, Desolace, and Feralas.

Coming to a message board for a fantasy RPG and making fun of people who like cartoons has used up your allotment of irony for the entire month.
