Yeah…I stand by Zovaal being the worst, most poorly thought out villain I have ever seen in fiction. It is blatantly obvious that they pulled him out of their posterior just so they could claim “we planned to have one bad guy behind everything from the beginning”. They did that because they wanted to copy FFXIV, which actually did have a big villain behind most of the events of the game.
But because Zovaal was never actually planned, and was retconned in at the last minute, he became generic, boring, with no personality or motivations beyond “for the evulz”. And then they pulled the “he only did it because there was an even greater evil” at the very end, despite there being no hint of that before. Because, I dunno, reasons? That’s why I call him Dollar Store Thanos.
But Razsageth proves that they CAN indeed create a new character that had never been mentioned in the lore before, give them a personality and motivations, and make them feel like a part of the world. It just takes, you know, effort.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I remember these kinds of posts about WotLK, and we all know how that expansion is regarded now.
Not trying to compare Dragonflight with WotLK, I’ve only just rejoined so I don’t know yet.
All I’m saying is… time will tell, I guess.

this is what happens when people get 2 double bombs of an expansion back to back so literally anything would have been better than sl for me lol but hell df isnt much better.
as for like lore or story, i just seen a topic abt someone named “morchie” and i remembered its actually chromie. wth is her name like that? theyre are ‘cutie-fying’ this game or something. idk whos running this game anymore, i think ion just let his team do w/e as long as he has front row seats to anything happening in m+ lol.
im outta here tho for the most part. once classic finally fails me then idk lol. cant see myself returning to retail, theres no direction or fun but we’ll see.

If you can count to 5 and understand things like “clockwise from the front left” you don’t need addons for Neltharion.
At least, not for Hearts. People over-complicate the mechanic.

And old Heroic (which was the original difficulty) is now named Mythic.
And old Normal (which was only added in Wrath) is now named Heroic.
If you want to delete what’s currently labeled Normal, which was added at the end of MoP (along with LFR, which was added a the end of Cata), that would be fine. But there’s no need to get rid of the original and the 2nd difficulties.

At least with shadowlands, it felt more complete and I had some things to do. There were people in korthia and zerith mortis to kill rares and do other things. The forbidden reach and zarelek caverns are doa.
Pvp is dead. I can’t find any rbg groups. Solo shuffle is a joke for wait times. There is so little horde doing regular bgs it’s pathetic. At least the queue times are short. But it’s usually a loss. But somehow, Alliance still get a 15% pvp buff while in war mode. Explain that one to me. Horde can’t even merc bgs because there is so little horde participation.
While I like not farming borrowed power, I miss shadowlands and bfa. At least I had things to do.
World quests are boring and useless now too.

Do not doubt it, but the difference i notices was also some trickery. They has to do something to make it work right in those zones, because they were truly massive zones.
No, I’m having the most fun in the game since Legion. I can’t even express how much I love Dragonflight adequately.
It was the best expansion in a long time, then they killed it. At current that sentiment has fully reversed.

I wish they would finally get some guts and fire the story team, I couldn’t care less why the laser chicken is mad at the titans, oh they put her in jail for billions of years? Well I agree with her then, even more reason to fire the writing team. You’ve made the aspects look like bullies that enslaved the elementals making the elementals justified in their rage… like do you want me to sympathize with them or hate them?
Oh and lets not forget “HuE hUe HuE DUCKS evErYOnE!1!1! DiD We MeNtioN DUckS!?1/1?!? OOOooooOOOooo DUCKS HEHEHEH SO FUNNY!!!”

Because blizzards official communication said that retention was up, and it’s a felony to lie in that situation, so I’m inclined to believe them.
