How can one person write so much yet be so wrong?
There were some exploits people were using, in some cases. There were also some bugs, like the one that was letting people cap out their Cobalt Assembly rep in two or three hours because the buff thatâs supposed to increase your odds of getting a rep drop was boosting it all the way to 100%.
The bugs and exploitation coming of course in addition to more standard methods, like optimized farming groups utilizing specific routes for maximum efficiency.
Grats on beating the game.
now itâs time for co-op content, then group content, then massively-multipalyer group content.
Did you even read what OP posted? The suggestions?
Donât bother me til you do. Iâll not waste my time trying to have a convo with someone who refuses to think further on anything.
Let me tell you a little story, back 18 years ago when I started WoW, I too was a single player minded person, I solo played the game like any other RPG I ever played before it. I had a pretty good time at it too. I died a lot, and always was in aww when I seen players with the good gear and those who had the wealth. Thus I stayed that way with that mind set that I only did dungeons once I was way over the level for them so I could solo them. And I spent my time mostly alone and not making much money because I was scared of the AH.
This changed in Wrath, someone grabbed me, kicking and screaming and dragged me into a raid group, and into dungeons groups. It made it far easier once they made dungeons queueable, but I learned a whole different world to WoW.
Like crack to a squirrel I was hooked. Not only did I run more and more alts to have every single profession covered to maximize my ability to see things on the AH for gold. But I also loved learning roles in parties in dungeons and raids. I was hooked again when LFR came out, and then in MoP I became a full time guilded raider not just a pug. All I could think about was getting the best tier gear with each farming clear we did after we knocked a boss down the 1st few times. The 1st time to kill each boss was its own reward after that it was all about getting everyone their gear and pushing more bosses then once clearing and farming a difficulty moving onto the next ladder up of difficulty. Earning AOTC and at the end of each xpac getting your mount. It was great fun, the 1st xpac that I dropped out of raiding at the end and didnât get my AOTC Mount was Shadowlands, I just felt flat and wiped out on that xpac. As if I could care less, gear, mount or kills in the last raid.
WoW is what you make it. You can sit back, paint yourself in a corner and do nothing. Or you can step out and try different things. I play many other games outside of WoW, be it Diablo 3 and soon Diablo 4, or Star Wars the old republic, Red Dead online 2, 2nd Life, just to name a few. WoW is a game I have always loved to waste a lot of time in killing things in. grinding and making gold, making and leveling an army of alts. If I run alone or with friends, yes there are times I miss running together with groups of close friends all the time like back in MoP where doing everything was done together in a group.
But people got old, some are not around anymore, some got in trouble and are doing time in the big house. Some passed away from cancer. Some got tired of WoW and simple donât play anymore. Some can no longer afford WoW. The raid guild is still together and is larger and stronger than ever, but are hardly what you would see as a world 1st raiding guild, they are simply a progressive raiding guild that are semi-hardcore.
I love this game, I am glad I gave it a chance 18 some years ago when I complained I wouldnât ever pay $15 per month to play a game, if I pay $35 for a game I should be able to play it when ever I like. Yep I was one of those types back then. lol. Now I should own stock in Blizzard for as much as I have spent because I have not been unsubbed a single say since I started.
And that is my story.
Iâve completed dozens of hours of solo content so far and have many more fun activities ahead of me, Iâm not sure what these complainers are complaining about.
invasions are coming out next week then LFR solo shuffle etc. I mean its a solo players fault for playing a MMORPG and trying to play 24/7 without joining a party. You will eventually run outa content if you dont do what MMORPG is designed for, which is group\social content
Infinite progression like artifact stuff during bfa and shadowlands nearly killed the dam game, please dont ask for it back
If only they had a Torghast equivalent in DFâŚ
Oh well, maybe 10.X or the next xpac.
Idk if itâs just me but I feel like there is almost too much to do lol (a good problem). I also really want some rated solo shuffle next week.
That wasnât casual players. Raiders complained in beta that theyâd have to spend too much time in Torghast trying to get gear. They didnât want to feel pressured to do it. The timer thing was completely separate.
We do, itâs just in outdoor content this time in the form of Cobalt Assembly.
they totally missed the point on having anything solo gearing blew torghast got rid of visions i could care less about professions they made them overly annoying for no reason at all imagine going from shadowlands professions to what they got now lol. people sitting in trade begging for help good job.
No, they didnât. There was a tirade of people complaining about the timer, and screaming that if they wanted to wait 10 minutes between every trash pull so that Bloodlust could come off of cooldown, how DARE Blizzard stand in their way.
You people need to get that boogie-man out of your head and stop blaming âraidersâ for everything.
Too long; didnât read post.
Iâm not alone. I just choose not to group with DramaTrolls.
Legion had great endgame content for solo players with WQs & Invasions.
BfA carried that forward but had fewer WQs but added Islands and Warfronts.
SL only had enough to last a month before everything had already repeated three times, the Maw that kicked you out if you got close to figuring out how small it was, and Boreghast.
Hopefully the devs are planning on sticking more to Legionâs structure.
Are you talking about stuff like the tower? Cause aside from legendary items i dont recall any variation of wow with a solo endgame that allows for one to keep up with the gear par
Iâm a solo player and Iâve been getting gear better than mythic 0s from rares that die in 10 seconds no group neededâŚ
It isnât. The mobs will scale with you to a certain extent, but eventually you just outgear that when the season is out.
Can people really stop judging things when content and gear is limited and meant to not be one shot and irrelevant in 2 weeks?
And if youâre actually playing the game youâd realize you can get epic gear that is even better than mythic 0s by hunting rares or doing those element events. World content gear is scaling more than it has previously. And some rep farms(which you can farm) can award you with epics on a higher base item level than dungeons.
If this tells me anything is that world only players donât know what they want.
Having an endless supply of daily WQ doesnât make the game better. Having forced weekly never ending content doesnât make the game more fun. NEW WORLD CONTENT COMES OUT TUESDAY. Again, its like you didnât see this. Open your eyes and take a second to read whats coming before crying
Game has a ton of side stories, and new activities they added as you unlock renown.
A whole new profession system that anyone can engage with if you took 3 minutes to read a guide if youâre confused like op.
3 day world quests so that you donât feel forced to log in daily for an ounce of rep.
World bosses/events that give you meaningful rewards that also scale with you.
Reputations that you can farm until youâre maxed out within one day if you wanted to which can net you good gear.
New upcoming world events in the future.
Community feasts, fishing holes.
Grand hunts.
Did I miss any other world content?
