blizz would find some way to bork it up… or put it in the cash shop as a “transmog”
I hope Blizzard never stops being arrogant because I will forever treasure gems like the Jailer being the “final conclusion to the story written since Warcraft 3”.
There’s something very fascinating about a corporation so up their own butt that they’re unable to see all the crap they’re covered in. Of course, I’d like it if they’d maybe tune it down on the overall lack of effort on some things coughnomoretimelessisleknockoffspleasecough but otherwise I am sort of down to warm my bones on a burning fire. I am here for some side RP and will play a different fourteen kind of game for any actual semblance of enjoyment from an MMO on every other aspect.
That’s pretty much it. play Flowering Fortissimo 14 for the story and this game for the RP.
I suppose I shouldn’t be so bent out of shape over a recolored armor set when the official lore is literally just recoloring existing entities.
It’s Different Colored Robots ALL THE WAY UP!
The time for a Dark Ranger class feels like it passed, which sucked. Same for Necromancer. Hoping there’s a “class skin” feature in 11.0
What I was hoping for with the new customisation was a Darkfallen option for elves and a Lightforged Undead option for forsaken (and humans?). That would have ruled (for me). Sprinkle in some appropriate lore to round it out etc.
I also wanted it to work on Death Knights so my vampy DK could have red eyes.
Welcome to the Transformer Fandom …
Wait the Dark Ranger customization doesn’t work on DKs?
Demon Hunter and Death Knight both cannot access the new skin and eye options
Yes, I was quite annoyed when it didn’t work on dks.
You know, it occurs to me that if we swapped their names around, Demon Hunter and Death Knight sound quite metal.
A Demon Knight, a full-plate wearing warrior who transforms into a raging Fel-infused behemoth or a whirling, multi-armed dervish, or a winged beast that darts around the battlefield with cursed weapons in their clawed fists sounds interesting.
By contrast, a Death Hunter, a leather-wearing ranged attacker and stealthy fighter sounds like the perfect fit for the Church of the Light’s inquisition against Banshees, Zombies, Liches and other foul agents of the Scourge, while for the Silvermoon and Undercity version, the tireless hunters of Scourge cultists, both former and current, within the Horde.
My Evoker is going to be a little death hunter if you’re catching what I’m tossing
Bad dragon! Spritz’s with Chain Healing water.
eyebrow waggle
I bought a month for the first time since the month Shadowlands came out. Just kinda felt the urge to poke about and see what things are like now.
It really is weird seeing Wyrmrest Accord looking like Argent Dawn or Thorium Brotherhood or any of the other dead old servers I used to play on with cross-realm people everywhere in major cities and stuff. Orgrimmar still seemed sort of normal at least.
Anyway I did the little return to Lordaeron questline but idk what else I want to do.
And I made my mage use the undead skin and gave him a goatee and now he looks kinda like elf Nathanos
This is actually a debuff, your character will unabashedly lust for Sylvanas.
I’m so sorry.
That said, I basically never see a single living soul in Stormwind every time I visit and it’s hilariously sad in its own way. That said, Duskwood is poppin’ most nights and thanks for Blizzard for having insight on its dying community and letting cross-faction instance stuff happen because 90% of me playing this game at all has been with Horde friends that still play.
Weird times for Alliance people on WrA but I don’t mind it all that much since I’ve always been a neutral person at heart.
I’ve noticed a lot of Alliance players moved to MG because they have a much heavier Alliance population.
It’s time to sh-sh-sh-sh-shill!
Empty Stormwind got you down? People keep saying Wra Alliance is dead? Come down to Duskwood, where the Alliance is ironically alive and kicking! Come see our local guild the Bright Guarde, dedicated to saving Stormwind from Duskwood’s evil all without overtime pay! Come meet the locals who will give you a wary stare and warn you about the forest’s dark and bloody history. And if you get real lucky, you’ll stumble on a ghostly knight riding his lonely patrol across the darkened roads.
Don’t delay, come to Duskwood today! (Disclaimer: there is no daytime in Duskwood)
This makes me want to create some vintage postcards advertising Duskwood.
It’s just a postcard of Thomas in front of a dilapidated farm with big goofy text that says “WISH YOU WERE HERE…”
To Dardillien I say cowards, the lot of them.
And by cowards I mean personally understandable but I have a fancy name and have zero worry about finding RP since I know MG people and I like RPing with my Horde friends.
