In Dragon Soul we get tier gear entirely from the raid or 2 lucky pieces from Baradin Hold. That means that getting our 4 set is going to be RNG dependent and it may take some time, as there will none in the Valor Vendor NPC.
Apart from that, the LFR gear is only going to be 384. Normal gear is 397 and is usually what you want for raiding, at least at the beginning.
My concern arises as Dragon Soul will only last around 3 months, and we all know that as the phase progresses, players will naturally stop playing until MoP rolls around.
I would suggest adding the pieces to the Valor Vendor (as it has been all expansion) considering we are playing a fast-tracked version of Cataclysm. This will ensure players get geared up and not frustrated as they try to progress through the end of Cataclysm, only relying on LFR raids if absolutely necessary.

Agree 100%
My 10M finally finished all 4 sets just 2 lockouts ago, full clearing since week 1.
10M will basically have to loot master and stack tier to get 4 pces anytime soon, and my guild is a /roll team, so we really don’t want to do that.
They should add an omni token for both N and H to deathwing imo. Madness will have so many dead drops considering every caster has the leggo now.
A 25-man raid drops 3 pieces of tier gear from each boss, totaling pieces each week. Without considering LFR drops, drops, duplicates, it would take 7 weeks for a full25 roster to obtain a 4-piece set.
Lol this is not fast tracked!!! We will most likely have DS for 6-7months according to the timeline that blizz put out MOP pre patch launches in summer 2025 then MoP launches in Autumn So we will most likely have DS from March - September that is 6-7 months.
If Dragon soul launches the 1st week of march That would be March,April,May,June,July,August and September
MoP pre patch launches in “summer 2025” So that means it will launch in June, July or August.
MoP launch is Autumn 2025 So that means it will launch in September, October or November.
Prepatch is functionally the end of the raid tier.
Blizz will likely drag Dragonsoul out as long as possible. They’ve been increasingly lazy with Classic.

Yeah but pre patch normally last a few weeks so it would most likely be released in August with a MoP launch in September
people ran flr for this problem did they fix it then no will they unlikely even tho the item level is low the 4 part is good anuf to drop for 1 or 2 lfr set items
Stop acting like tier is hard to get. Each boss drops 3 tier tokens that’s 15 a week. without doing BH
Stop acting like you know everything. Just like you in pretty much every post you make, people have a right to voice their concerns. Every single time I see you respond to any post, you just stir up conflict.

I clearly stated that 3 pieces of tier gear drop from each boss that has tier tokens on loot table in 25-man raids, so a full clear would have 15 pieces of tier gear per week.
Absolutely, people do have a right to voice their concerns, and I respect that. However, I never said that they didn’t.
It’s important to recognize that conflict often arises when people are debating. However, I always strive to state the facts and engage in constructive discussions. Unfortunately, it has often been others who resort to insults and toxic behavior, therefore they are the ones who bring the conflict and not myself.
He’s trying so hard to bait someone into bringing up 10M dropping only 1 so he can further troll with “lol 10M” posts.
100% obvious my guy. You troll a lot and are still bad at it.

There is nothing to drag out. DS was the final raid in this xpac and will be until MoP Classic. They may adjust things inside the raid but as far as dragging it out, no they will not invent a new raid for Classic Cata.
They can’t help themselves… It feeds their HPD but you are 100% correct.
Plus they loves them some ChatGPT.

No one said anything about a new raid
I said Blizz is lazy and will do lazy Blizz things, like dragging out Dragonsoul phase, like they’ve done every phase…you know, because they are lazy.

This is classic - not new classic. They will (as everyone should already know), drop DS (a very boring and not well received OG raid) and that will last until MoP Classic. They are not going to anything new or add anything. And you somehow equate that to being lazy…how sad you are.
You implied it

Lol
Please show everyone where William implied that blizz would add a new raid.

I am not able to teach you how to comprehend. That is something you should have learned in middle school or later.
It appears there may be a misunderstanding regarding the distinction between comprehension and implication. Comprehension refers to the ability to understand and grasp the meaning of a statement. In contrast, implication involves suggesting or hinting at something without explicitly stating it.
In my previous post, I asked for clarification on where William implied that Blizzard would add a new raid. This request was not an indication of my comprehension skills but rather a call for evidence to support the claim. It is important to address the content of the discussion rather than resorting to personal attacks.
If there is any confusion about the differences in these 2 concepts, it might be beneficial for you to revisit the basics of comprehension and implication.
Now the only other comment William left on this thread was this.
Please explain to everyone how this IMPLIES that blizz would add a new raid.
It has come to my attention that your incessant reliance on artificial intelligence to articulate your thoughts has led to a regrettable diminution of authentic human expression. While the prodigious capabilities of ChatGPT undoubtedly furnish one with a lexicon of unparalleled sophistication, an overreliance thereon precipitates an atrophy of one’s own cognitive and rhetorical faculties. The human intellect, a vast and intricate mechanism of introspection and ideation, is best cultivated through rigorous independent thought, not through the algorithmic regurgitation of syntactically immaculate yet soulless verbiage.
Furthermore, the deleterious ramifications of such habitual outsourcing of discourse extend beyond mere intellectual stagnation. The recipients of your AI-generated prose, no matter how eloquently composed, inevitably discern the disingenuous nature of responses devoid of personal nuance and spontaneity. Communication, in its purest form, is a symphony of individual experiences, emotions, and imperfections—elements that no machine, however advanced, can genuinely replicate. To abdicate the responsibility of genuine engagement in favor of computational expediency is to eschew the very essence of meaningful human interaction.
Thus, I implore you to emancipate yourself from this algorithmic crutch and endeavor to reinvigorate the art of organic dialogue. Permit your mind the latitude to wander, to err, and to refine itself through the crucible of authentic engagement. Language, after all, is not merely a vehicle for information transfer but a profound manifestation of our humanity—a faculty that ought to be exercised with diligence, sincerity, and an unwavering commitment to intellectual self-reliance.
