I use an Apple computer with and apple mouse (yes you can laugh). I’m not able to dive with my able mouse? Is there a way I can do this?
Point straight down?
It needs a loop and a barrel roll button too
I can’t it won’t dive down? Even when I point straight down.
Okay, give me a few and I’ll see if I can recreate this to try to help.
Can mine make murloc sounds when it dives? If so, I’m in!
wow. Props. I am on a Mac but I needed to use a ‘real’ mouse to play.
I just want a hover button, maybe a quick stop button so your dont have to go in circles… but dive is just pointing the snoot down.
Got bad news for you, but games arent designed with apple in mind.
Best advice i can give is go buy a wired mouse so you can control the camera easily.
WoW runs fantastically on an Apple, but yes, the mouse needs replaced.
OP, I tried to recreate this and you do need a right click function. So the best I can say is to see if the usual Apple controls work for right clicking: ctrl+click. If that doesn’t work, you need a new mouse. Nothing fancy, just one with a right click function.
You used to be able to go into the mouse settings and enable the right-click functionality for apple mice, is that no longer the case? I haven’t used one in like a decade.
My work-around for this issue was to turn my Apple mouse off, put it in a drawer, and replace it with a Logitech trackball.
Although I suppose any third party mouse would do. Apple’s mouse design stinks, and always has. (Mac user from way back, starting with a 512k Enhanced in 1986.)
Indeed, I could never get the “magic mouse” to work. I run with a generic MS mouse with, what, 4, 5 buttons? Works fine for me.
Same. xyz
insert and delete still work for changing your mounts pitch.
To be fair, way back in Vanilla, I hadn’t mastered the “right-left chord to run” way of moving, and anytime I was underwater it was just an unmitigated disaster trying to maneuver.
I still have nightmares from the “Cursed Crew” quest in Wetlands.
so if you nose down you cant use the Surge Forward ?
Uggggh!!! Worse than an Apple mouse!
No need for Blizzard to account for inferior mouse hardware.
That’s the thing. You can’t nose down with an Apple mouse.
