You can with dragon riding as it is, just fly up, point, and afk glide. Not sure what point you were trying to make.

You would have to start at a high location, and you likely wouldnāt even cross a zone. Itās not even close to how far you can get afk on old world flying, where the only thing that can stop you is wandering over an ocean to the point of exhaustion and getting knocked out of the sky.
Please just delete dragon riding from the game, itās complete trash

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Nope, you just double jump and hit 2 pointing upwards a couple of times. Get real high up, and glide. You can point basically the same as old flying across zones, that is one thing that is basically the same between them. The only difference is you angle yourself not completely level but just a hair below that and you keep your speed.

Doubtful that will happen. Actually normal flying may be heading that way. Not soon but maybe in expansion or two. Yes they are working on adding dragon flying to old world content but maybe the next goal is to get rid of normal flying all together and have every mount use some sort of Dragon Riding system. Like machine type mounts having an energy or fuel system.
Wait, so swimming thru air is more immersive then an actually mechanic that mimics fight?
it gives the feeling of being immersed in liquid yeah.

That would be fine, if we were actually under water and not flying around in the air 
If you think about it, air is just a liquid solution with much less resistance from friction. 
and since most of us are 70% water, weāre basically air but weighed down by our skeletons.
We should free ourselves from the bones of slavery and become free.

Iād agrue those things are exactly what makes it immersive. Static flight, as they are calling it now is just that, static. There is no immersion.

You can literally hold down a button or even toggle auto-run to fly on mount. You actually have to do something and move your eyes to fly a dragon.
Dragon riding is clearly more immersive if you understand the definition of the word.
To recognize this post as a joke at first glance would be to disregard the surprisingly low IQ of the community. There are much dumber suggestions that come through on the daily that are sincere.

Honestly i just wish they would remove the charges once you max out the tree and learn everything i hate having to land and wait to recharge
