I have a complaint about dragon riding. I Just went to the top of the world on my dragon riding and did a highspeed dive to the ground. However when my dragon made it to the ground it’s like it stopped instantaneously in no space. How is this possible that a giant dragon can hit the ground at high speed and not shatter the ground below it?
IMO dragon riding dives should cause damage to the ground and do a knock back. It’s completely unbelievable that the dragon hits the ground at full speed and does no damage.
I agree it’s unrealistic. Like instant repair. We should have to check our characters into hospitals for a suitable period of time after difficult battles.
Because it’s a magical world, we break real world physics all the time on the daily just by conjuring light, frost, fire, etc out of thin air every time we use an ability.
I liked that too, but eh, okay considering Dragonriding is a huge improvement. The only time I activate normal flying in old content is to get some chest hanging somewhere high that you can’t land easily with dynamic.
Actually, I’d love if dynamic flying had an ability that allowed you to have ‘normal flying’ for 20 seconds or so - 5 minute cooldown - to facilitate reaching those hard to get spots.
