Dragon Flight requires Win 10+?

And OneDrive was another one that you couldn’t do this for originally. No matter how much you lie on Warcraft forums about it.

I suggest upgrading. I have a decent setup but WOW is the only game I’ve played that makes my computer grind hard. Spaghetti code does some bad things to computers nowadays.

No. I’ve literally never once seen a pop up ad.

I literally never had an issue disabling OneDrive.

Big difference between disable and uninstall.

Not really. I can’t uninstall iCloud Backups from my iPhone either, I don’t throw a fit about it and claim it’s an ad.

It’s an ad if it pops up and you have to skip through it multiple times.

So the setup wizard you have to run through every major update is an ad now ?

Not really either way you don’t have to see One Drive again. I’m starting to see that all you really want to do is argue.

Yes, it is. If it’s for a paid service and I’ve already skipped through it before. Or “Disabled” it.

It’s an advertisement for me to have to go through it again.

Until you get one of these ads, of course. Or I’m sorry… “Feature”

Man, he’s right!

Every time I go to launch WoW, I’m badgered with ads!!! ADS EVERYWHERE! SEND HALP!

I wouldn’t know I’ve never gotten one.

It could be because Microsoft stopped supporting the older windows versions with security updates

As a reminder, Windows 8.1 will reach the end of support on January 10, 2023. After this date, this product will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or online technical content updates.

It is an argument. I’m using an argument.

I do want to argue that Microsoft Windows has ads. It was something that was said that they don’t. And I replied that it was rare, but they do in fact have ads.

I do consider the OneDrive setup reminders every few updates an Ad. I don’t want OneDrive. It’s a service you can pay for with a free taste.

I’m not sure how it can be seen as anything but an ad. Is it a huge deal? No.

But it most certainly is an ad.

And yes, actually The BNET launcher is also ads. And the COD one that will pop up over it ocassionally is one that I’ve complained about before too.

I find it very hard to believe that you’ve used Win10 for a long time and never gotten the repeated setup for OneDrive. Unless you’ve already set it up.

It very well could be some program running in the background.

I always run malwarebytes now and then, which in the past has found 1 or 2 unwanted programs that needed to be removed.

“Bad” programs can be installed and you don’t even know it when you go on a web site or download something. It happens.

    1. Press Windows key + r and type msconfig, hit Enter.
    1. Click on Startup tab.
    1. Open Task Manager.
    1. Right click on the program and select disable/enable

Windows10

Yeah I think they have some sort of virus and blamed Microsoft. I haven’t seen a pop-up since like windows XP lol

I have it’s just not an ad.

I right click and uninstall/disable OneDrive. Lol, these people are so odd.
