Draenei Heritage Armor Prediction

Look, let’s start with context, and context means the questline.

I think the Draenei, right now, have a gigantic pink Elekk in the room: The Man’ari have rejoined them, and for the last 25000 the only thing the Draenei hated was Demons.

How does that affect the Draenei? What types of conflict does it create? Can the Draenei and the Man’ari coexist peacefully?

I think the Heritage questline will attempt to answer these questions.

And as such, I predict that whatever the Heritage Armor set looks like, it’s going to have two versions. A pure version, with pink crystals, and a Man’ari version with green crystals.

It’s gonna have crystals, that’s not even up for debate lol

I think it will not, and draenei will get a generic, vaguely plate-looking silver armor with purple crystals.

Based on what they did with the Night Elf heritage armor, this isn’t happening.

Was thinking it’ll involve the Lost Ones to get that demanded Draenei concept and Dusksinger might have the best conflict to create a good story. :memo::robot:

I think the draenei need to embrace their man’ari cousins and get incubus/succubus corsets for their heritage. :smiling_imp:

But… night elf heritage does have two color variants based on a recent shift in their lore, the purple “traditional” set and the blue “Bel’ameth” set.

So if they do for draenei what they did for elves, it should be exactly that they have two color variants, and one of them is based on the eredar storyline in some way.

That’s the kind of thing I’m hoping for. It feels more like draenei casual wear, but fancied up with a big Jimmy Ray belt buckle.

We’ve already got draenei style plate and cloth armor. And kind of mail armor, with that purple crystal shaman set. We need something more neutral.

I always imagined Draenei heritage armor would be like their old paladin order you see strolling around in Draenor. The guards they had, which could allow for a fel variant.

Draenei will get the purple paladin armor seen in the trailers, can almost guarantee it. Would love to see something else though honestly.

That concept art is always how I preferred Draenei. It’s kinda how they feel early on in Azuremyst and such too.

But as soon as the Draenei get established they go full light worshiping crystal huggers and, god, am I tired of that.

But it’s what we’re gonna get.

No chance in hell we get the primal look.

It’ll be likely garish. The shoulders will either clip badly, float, or do both simultaneously. And the boots will have large kneepads.
