Yeah it did. What do you think the arc of TBC was? Emotionally based. WOTLK also had plenty of it we had an entire arc about finding his heart, memories and emotions. This is not a new concept. Go look back threw the previous expansions where we thought that something was cool or edgy and now we are older they are just cringe at best. This doesnt even strickly apply to this game either but all forms of medium. “Dude where’s my car” was a movie I loved as a teen and now I can’t believe I ever thought it was funny. Point being the point to point of how the games story hadn’t changed nor can it with a strict rating. We have grown older
We don’t really know how Terenas felt about Arthas - it was Uther’s love and respect he could never quite get. (Granted, Uther is a fairly paternal figure for Arthas.)
yeah but there’s a difference when it feels like emberthal (ever wonder why azureathal, you know, the dracthyr alliance rep who i don’t blame you for forgetting about his existence has 0 presence in the story) is some writer’s self-insert indulging in wish fulfillment for the paternal love and bonds they wish they had
You think thats the first time that story has been told in wow? That same story with different chars has been told countless times. If it wasn’t an issue before why is it now?
We do. Clearly Terenas loved his kid and was mostly proud of him. Sure like any parent he sometimes got disappointed but for the most part he was always shown to be a loving parent/good person.
Arthas, due to his own self doubts/self worth issues had a tendency to take everything his father did rather negatively.

you could really boil it down to “boohoo my daddy didnt love me now im going to go cry and search for validation.”
I read this in a mean Eredar voice, which makes this statement even better.
Its funny that conservatives like to make out liberals as cry babies who can’t handle anything. But holy crap i see more tears and hurt feelings from conservatives than i do liberals. As the political faction that popularized the insult snowflake to be used against their opponents they sure act like snowflakes.
Also before conservatives report this post. I just re-looked over the Code of Conduct and it says nothing about politics in the forums or even in game. If you want to go as vague as possible to hit this post, discrimination against a group of people is as close as you can touch, but then OP is equally as guilty by targeting the dracthyr playerbase.
I’m a new player that picked Evoker and now I hate it. The dragon model is terrible in every single way and all 3 specs are the most clunky specs in MMO history.
The Evoker is a mega fail. I’m deleting mine and but the experience of playing one was so bad I might quit the game and try FF14 or something else.
11.0 plot discovered!
I love the Dracthyr… and hate the evoker. Biggest personal regret of mine is making the evoker my first “main” for dragonflight by doing all the content on it. Gameplay isn’t really fun at all or satisfying. Preservation is ok i guess though. However the model, the customization, the racials, just everything about dracthyr to me is cool. Except their dance… that just not needed to be a thing.
Obvious troll is obvious.

You hate the class with cartoonish design and clunky rotations so you’re going to quit and play a game with even more cartoonish design and even more clunky rotations? Lemme know how that works out for you.
As someone who loves FF14 i have to disagree with the whole cartoonish / anime thing people keep comparing to with FF14. Rotations aren’t clunky either and is very smooth. HOWEVER I will give ya classes feel the same. You got tanks, healers, range and melee dps. The dps are a bit more unique amongst each others unlike tank and healers but not that much different from wow compared to the dps specs amongst wow classes.
So op saying the roles all feel the same and then support ff14 where tanks and healers all pretty much feel the same is just trolling.
Don’t confuse him with… facts.

I will say after getting back to playing both in a better balance (not playing one more than the other for weeks at a time), I will say this.
Feels pretty good knowing you don’t really have to worry about the job your playing being absolute dogfire at everything because it was designed stupidly.
May not be the most interesting, but at least it will always work as intended lol.
those look neat, too bad we didn’t get them
Welp good thing he wasn’t then cause Drakonid are lame, boring and unimaginative just like all these damn Elf races Blizzard keeps adding.

Excessively sweet or sentimental… apparently. That’s what google says anyway.
In other words, could work for a drink, but probably not a diet one.
