Nah, let the dragons be the dragon class.
Considering blizzard went the route of “100th game to use a dragon class” I cannot say this is a creative vision.
This is not a “add a tank spec to evoker” thread 
We are asking them to have other classes then that for the race.

Cool and all, but the dragon should play as a dragon form in combat.
The reason is freedom to be creative. All the cool dps ideas go into one spec, all the cool healing ideas go into one spec.
All the animation work goes into just the Drac abilities, no need to adjust old stuff to fit the new models.
Exactly. You hit the nail on the head, freedom to be creative FOR THE DEVS. Not the players.

what they are doing with dracthyr I don’t think they have an option. I don’t think it is created like most races. It’s class only works for them because it uses these differences. I think literally dracthyr can only be evokers. Evokers can only work with dracthyr.
Not just from a cosmetic perspective but a technical one. I think they probably share skeletal features with the new dragons they showed doing dragonflight. I think evoker uses it as well. They are also capable of the new flight.
I doubt that would happen without it being a graphical mess at all.
That makes no sense. How is picking a class creativity? The devs do all the creative work making the classes.
So yeah, it is about creativity for the devs, giving them creative license to make Dracthyr Evokers as awesome as possible.
I’m fine with that. It makes them like Worgen, but the Worgen having human bodies for their non-combat form makes sense. The Worgen come from a human kingdom.
The Dracthyr having only non-combat male blood elf and female human forms makes ZERO sense and just screams laziness. Allow them to choose whatever race for their non-combat form. They can even go wild and let them choose the covenant races! Haha
this is what I see. They are designed to deliver the dragon Fantasy. They are capable of the new dragonflight. I think they will be awesome with the direction they are going.
I agree with that actually. If we are going to be a dragon, we should have all the options of them from lore.
One that would look dumb. 2 that “spectral wings” idea conflicts with dracthyr’s natural form, which btw is where they are the strongest, so it makes sense for them to prefer to fight in their natural state then in a state where they are actively using magic to disguise themselves.
No, you WANT them to have more classes.
Need and want are not the same thing.
Yes, they can.
Races and classes are not dependent on each other for definition.
They will have access to the BASE mechanics of dragonriding which is climbing to a high point and then gliding.

Your race and class is one of the most important creative decisions you make in this game.
Yeah, it’s limited, but it’s still your personal creativity to be a Blood Elf Paladin, or a Human Rogue.
They could also do non-dracthyr evokers.
The limitations are self imposed.
To say it is designed for the devs and not see an issue there is absurd.

No, they don’t. Three specs is more than Demon Hunters get, who can be just two races.
Clearly, this ranged Hero Class is meant to be niche. Dracthyr are meant to be niche. That’s FINE.

Important decision, yes. Creative deciision? Not even close.
Could they? Is your blood elf gonna blow fire out of their mouth? Blast them with the wings they don’t have? Nah.
I’d agree with most forms. No need to double up on some of them, and some of those races never existed 10,000+ years ago when the Dracthyr were created. Only two is too few, Maybe 2-3 body options for each gender of Visage form.

We need Samurai class or a Blademaster class
They should of honestly just been a class like you pick your race be it Gnome, Human or Vulpera and then you can pick the class “Drakthyr Evoker” with your original race choice being the Humanoid form or whatever so
