Good Morning all, I was thinking about race changing to the scalely but I dont want to be a scalely while im acutally in combat so my question is will I always transform to the dragon when I am dpsing or can I choose to be human form while I dps?
I believe you have the option to always stay in non-scaled form, even in combat.
But don’t quote me on that.
Thinking of changing too, and that is important to me as well.
That is what I read as well.
lol, by the end of the month we all gonna be dragons!
That would be funny, but I’ll stick to my void elf.
I’ll go Dracthyr 100% as I’m tired of how Undead looks in transmog. I was about to race change either to Human or Void Elf when they announced Dracthyr Mages.
Let’s be real, an Evoker feels more magey. Especially that disintegrate and surge, which makes me blush with envy.
You have the option to stay in visage form while in combat, only the evoker class is forced to switch to dragon form
They got me. I’m dragon now
Hmm, I might have to look into this then. All I want is to play as an alliance high elf but the void elf racial is so annoying and immersion breaking.
One of us! One of Us! ONE OF US!
And after just a couple runs, I LOVE being a dragon!!! You get an extra interrupt for free and you get to glide when jumping, it’s hot!!!
I also just stay dragon form since the humanoid thing isn’t cool looking for me.
Has anyone noticed any problems with the Dracthyr Mage? For me, the blink animation doesn’t play, no voice lines and some lag on some spells.
I’ve only noticed how awesome it is, but will keep an eye out for the bugs you mention.
You mean like spells such as barrage and pyroblast having delayed animations?
Yes. As well as no blink animation. Both of my Dracthyr are Arcane Mages.
I made a post in the ptr forums about it and not even a peep about it at all. It was burried
What is your thought on the removal of tempered flames? It was a passive ability that greatly helped with Pyroblast cast time, I think by 30%.
I keep messing up with jumping and gliding right into melee range in PvP.
Otherwise love being Dracthyr.
I just changed into a Dracthyr and I’m loving it. The ability to stay in Visage form in and out of combat is just great. Love being able to glide, rendering slow fall almost useless for as a personal ability - although I haven’t confirmed if you will glide until you land or if it will eventually fall off.
