Something I personally like about the story setting of Warcraft is how different classes are interpreted by the races in-game. Some classes may differ moreso than others.
Priests are a great example of this, as there are a lot of different iterations of what a Priest can be based on their race and what they worship. (Elune, An’she, Naaru, Loa etc.) This inspires me to play the same classes with a different perspective based on the race I’ve chosen to play as.
That being said, I’m curious now with the introduction of Dracthyr as different classes:
What do you think would be cool ‘class’ related story beats as to why a Dracthyr may be a Priest/Warlock/Rogue etc.?
(inb4 ‘well they learned it from their allies’ because while that’s a straight forward and obvious explanation, it’s kinda boring.)

I made a Dracthyr Mage and Emberthal makes a comment about how the Blues aren’t the only masters of magic. I’m curious to see all the different dialogue she has for each class Dracthyr can be now.

My personal story for my own dracthyr hunter is he’s around the red and green flights for so long, he’s learned how to bond with animals and natural from the druids and hunters who follow both flights.

I planed to change my Warlock to Dracthyr because I can finally give him back his Meta, well kinda or er … in a way sort to speak and make up the story that he made a bargain to the Draconic demonic Void entity that Neltharion was in contact with in that Raid room we fought with Sarkareth. Hey if he could meta being an Evoker why can’t my Warlock right…? And I better do it before the Dracthyr DH come out! 
However my Night elf Warlock have been something I wanted to be since Vanilla WoW and more importantly it annoys so much my Alliance Night Elfs traditionalist friends SOOO MUCH… that I just can’t. But if I do make an Warlock Dracthyr Alt that’s the story I go for, unless more new lore pops out!

That’s a neat idea! Makes sense to be connected to those flights from a naturalist angle for sure.
I was thinking it would be interesting if Dracthyr Priests were either adherents of Tyr (Holy or Disc) or potentially researchers from Abberus (Shadow) trying to harness the power that consumed their creator as a way to differentiate from him.
I think Dracthyr have a lot of potential!

I love the idea of Drac shadow priests having the mentality of Shadowflame…It consumed our creator, just like it consumed Sarkareth and so many others. But we will master what others could not
I love it and now thats my own personal fiction for them. If I ever made a drac priest. PERSONALLY, I hope drac get druids one day 
Mastering Shadowflame would also work for Drac warlocks too!

She has some brief background lore for all classes- they existed in the Dracthyr army before stasis.

I like the idea of a Dracthyr emerging into the world seeing Warlocks use green fire, and wanting to learn how to wield it.

A lot of people seem to forget that not all the Dracthyr were Evokers. Evokers were only the “best of the best”, super Spec Ops members. Many Dracthyr couldn’t make the cut for one reason or another and took on other roles.
I’m now tempted to temporarily roll a Dracthyr for each class just to see the unique dialogue from Emberthal.

I think I will take a quick look later to see if their up once I finish a few things I am working on right now.

I was thinking of RPing my drac as a time displaced Infinite Drac, from a timeline where Nethalarion never became Deathwing because he completely mastered the Oathbinder and was able to dominate all of Dragonkind to his will.
It’s all I got for now. Just need to flesh out how everything would play out in a timeline where the dracthyr are running amok as murderhobos and not us

I’m just waiting for DK dracthyr. Gonna be neat, specially if they add additional customizations like tattered/skeletal wings, bones showing, rotten scales and so forth.

That would be neat, but they can’t even be bothered to let Dark Iron change the color of their fire-effects. Could you imagine a Dark Iron DK with frosty-blue fire or a Warlock with Fel green fire?
They didn’t even give the AR DKs any new skin tones like the Core Races, that I know of.

Giving the answer you’re asking for would imply that there is only one right one.
