Hey, guys… it’s timesmite. Little drunk undead shadow priest that loves the Warcraft movie. Ok so Idk anything about add-ons but I want to be the best I can be and I consider our roles an art, whether it be tanking, healing, whatever DPS, and so
I’m asking the community for tips. Not on my life choices or anything random like that. I’m fine. Just tips on how to be better at dps or where to go to install this add-on without inhereting a computer virus. Thanks, WoW community.
You can download Curseforge or WoWUp, those automatically places the addons into your addon folder but Curseforge also downloads Overwolf and I hear that some people don’t like that.

World of Warcraft > Classic > Interface > Addons
For a DPS addon, I’d suggest getting Details which tracks D/HPS among other things and then get the tiny threat plugin that tracks threat which I think is already included.

Just as a side note, Curseforge has Overwolf-free version too.
Those that don’t know what Overwofl is, or use it anywhere else, they really don’t need.
I happened to have other stuff that also runs on Overwolf, so I need it regardless.
So I’d just recommend getting Curseforge without Overwolf (on their website just click other button), but this will keep addons updated too. And we are about to have A LOT OF outdate addons that will require updates on weekly basis.
