i started playing it when Azetca was the end world, kid was having trouble so i made an account and just leveled through it, to help him play the last boss of that world. Then played on and off until they did that weird one which name escapes me, but it was the one where they just used bits of each world.

Wow. Didn’t realize how excessive the requirements to hit lvl 3 were lol. I was lvl 3 but then the forums had something happen and I became member…that and I get notifications of replies and likes hours later lol.

This as well. Will always have the opinion that certain words aren’t as “offensive” depending on context. Yeah there is clear situations where it’s an insult and slur, but often times it’s merely an emphasis to voice additional enthusiasm or displeasement about a thing.
The “view 20,000 posts and 500 topics” one more than anything. It’s not hard to visit this place every day. But 20,000 posts feels like you have to be obsessively scrolling this place for hours to get it organically. And 500 topics is just hard to track.
I used an auto scroller while i was at work on a megathread, and i’ll likely have to do it again before too long to maintain it. Thankfully i had organically fulfilled the 500 topics. Then again i suppose it is just clicking on 5 threads a day.
But for 20k posts you gotta look at 200 posts a day and that’s a lot.

Heh, TheLazyPeon (Youtuber) had his name changed because “Peon” was “offending” people, Even though there are Orcs in the game named 'Lazy Peon" and the responding mod said “not much they can do about it”

Well, I was like the forum won’t let me post the roach vendors full title. So I had to shorten it.
I’m surprised they let me type things like assessment.
The amount of vocabulary that I can use, but based on the vulgarity filter, limiting can be quite frustrating. I’ll type out a whole narrative and then it’ll be like this word is banned. I’m like what?

Yeah, because of the “swear” in it >.> Too many people too soft and have to nitpick because PART of the word is bad.
I remember a teacher getting annoyed because the one word NO one in the class misspelled was “Assassin” and was like " Of course none of you misspell “assassin” and everyone laughed about it.

This reminds me of years ago in middle school we were doing an exercise and rhyming for whatever reason.
And the beginning word was rude. Needless to say, there were two words that proceeded by someone and they got sent to ISS for it.
does one start with an N and the other start with a P?
Also when i was in school they changed ISS to ISI because “ISS” was “too harsh a wording”
even funnier most kids WANTED to go to ISS because the food they got was different and BETTER then normal lunch. They made those kids have Peanut butter and Jelly and had honey or something in it, and it was goooood 
I actually told the lunch lady i wanted it instead and they said they can’t it is for the kids in ISS. so i said okay cya tomorrow.
when the school found out that was the reason, they made them have the normal lunch

There is nothing wrong with the word ‘peon’ and it is not a good look for Blizzard to be pandering to that type of stupidity, especially so publicly.
When the pendulum swings back, its wake is going to be vicious.
It shouldn’t matter if they use it in the game or not, ‘peon’ is not a vulgar or offensive word.
And there is not much they can do about it? Isn’t it their job to be the deciding factor?
True but i guess it was like an insult in Philippines or something like that was the excuse? i watched the video a while back so i dont remember the full details, and yes it is their job to be the deciding factor, personally i would have played the “Youtuber Harassment card” They are only targeting him because he is a Youtuber/Streamer in other words.
There were so many posts generated in that week I got my 20k all at once. You have to read 20k posts made within the last 100 days, so they won’t roll off for a month.

It’s a carrot stick thing, I think. What other carrot could they offer for good behavior? Maybe special avatar appearances? We should brainstorm ideas.
Moderation is the thing that keeps people behaving on other forums. Their stuff gets deleted, they get suspended or banned.
