Double the community - Double the Guild?

Who the hell has one thousand guild members? That is still a hundred unique players with ten characters each.

Well that’s another thing — An additional bonus to increasing the guild members is that it makes it more breathable for popular guilds; that others want to bring in their off-side main or alts into.

Use the Community system.

My guild does that, but it’d still be better to have a single system then having to find all these work arounds when it could just be easier done.

I see a lot of your comments seem to be a straight up cop out.
“Do this instead / Play a different race / Just don’t do it then” etc — Honestly, any problem you have with the game Kiofea - You’d be pretty pissed off if someone derailed your solution and just proclaimed:

Play a different game.

It’s unfortunate you don’t have the minimum intelligence needed to determine jokes from statements.

I wasn’t talking about the comment primarily within this thread in particular. It’s unfortunate you lacked the minimum intelligence to have considered that, based on what I wrote.

 Another observation is that you come across off as rather passive aggressive majority of the time. lol – but I suppose that’s probably a wise decision to be on the forums, if I’m to be completely honest :joy:

— But I will admit, perhaps some I misread the tonality of some your remarks overviewed - which in all fairness can be hard to decipher in text than it is in words.

Neither was I; you made it clear you decided to stalk my profile to find any dirt you could on me in a arrogant effort to discredit my comments. Of course, you failed.

Oh, the irony… Stay salty, sailor.

No, not really. I was on a thread earlier where I saw your comment and rose an eyebrow. If you see from my own activity - I tread the forums quite a bit.

Pot calling the kettle black there considering you made the statement initially, but I digress–

If I were one of those arrogant pushers that stand on their own pedestal above others; without a shadow of compromise or consideration, I wouldn’t had made this statement:

Possibilities:

  • Cost to overcome hurdles.
  • Lack of desire to extend advantages of cross-faction play to more players.
  • Clinging to the past, which includes fond memories of faction rivalries back in the old days, as well as the longstanding hope that things will fix themselves if nothing is done.

Aren’t these the guilds where I get text errors all day of them logging on and off?

:dragon: :ocean: :mountain: :dragon: :ocean: :mountain:

Imagine a ‘PVP for all’ arena like Gurabashi - where a faction-unified guild were to go to war with another faction-unified or even better, a strictly singular faction guild and go to war. That’d be a cool new rivalry. :yum:

They should honestly just have an interface feature where you can turn that off, along with achievements in the guild being linked in the chat, aside from the actual guild’s achievements. Would help with a lot of the needless spam.

This is not that game.

Well it is actually.

In Classic WoW - My guild ‘Yojamba Forever’ challenged the guild ‘Yojamba Juice’ in the Gurabashi Arena — And we slaughtered them all.

I also remember in Wrath of the Lich King, a 5 man group of my guild which was ‘WoW’s Hottest’ at the time challenged another 5 man group of another guild and we also won.

PVP communities can be what you make of it. Giving further potential of what it could be, increases the possibilities.

Incorrect.

The guild I’m in is essentially a giant family and we’re steadily ~666 members. (it’s a running joke to remove 1+ year inactive people to keep it at 666), and that’ll grow well past 700 in Dragonflight due to Evokers.

And we’re always recruiting.

I’m in multiple communities who hit the 1k cap at various points. The worst part of communities is we have no idea how to track the last online of community members.

I’ll drop an example straight off the bat that did the faction system and eventually made cross-faction guilds possible done right: RIFT.

Say what you want about RIFT, in the small time I was able to play it, it was bloody convenient to have the option to A: have the opposite faction member in your guild and B: made communication a whole hell of a lot easier too.

So, yes. Absolutely.
However I would keep Guilds at a sound 1000 members: 2k might be a touch too many.

I laughed at this more than I should have.
That’s honestly great.

Yes!! That’s the same with my guild and so many others, which is why I suggested –

Yea, I have a thread in CC about it:

It’s silly that we still haven’t had any word on if they plan to increase it.

Even just making Guilds/Communities be a 1,000 account limit, rather than character would do enormously.
