Thanks for the rundown. I feel like all the classes I like are bad for pvp lol, especially paired with my Hunter friend. I imagine Warrior+Hunter also sucks because the lack of heals, right?
Yeah that sounds bad. It would only really work with a class thay can peel well for you (like rogue). Or a healer.
Ret/hunt actually isnt bad with the offheals and cc chains
So like maybe Resto Shaman + Hunter? I could level as enhancement and then go Resto endgame for arena purposes. We want to be able to play together in wrath
I know it might sound like we’re just shooting down anything you can come up with, but RSham is mainly a 3s healer and it’s the least played Healer in Arena. It can work, but it has to be specific comps (It’s possible that RSham/Hunter/Something works in 3s, I just mainly play 2s)
RSham lacks a Magic Dispel and is lacking in defensives and very lacking in CC, and on top of that they mainly hardcast which makes them easy to lockdown without solid peels
Haha it’s OK. I’m glad you are warning me. Maybe I should just scrap the whole idea and play a Feral Druid! I can tank, heal, or dps, and can support my Hunter in 2v2 as a Resto Druid.
I dont know if that’d be a great comp. I say healer, but rsham is most mediocre of 2s healers. You’d be better off with a pala, druid or priest. It dont know if it would be terrible (war hunt alone sounds terrible) but it wouldnt be great either.
Thanks guys. I didn’t realize rshams were so much worse in 2s. I certainly don’t want to make our time in arena harder than it needs to be.
Feral is a monster and very fun, I would highly support this. RDruid too

They seem fun, I’ve just never played one to endgame. I didn’t realize they were better in 2v2 than enhancement and I know they do pair with Hunters, so maybe it’s time I try one lol.
Feral can instant-cast Cyclone like, every 5-10 seconds, among other incredibly annoying things they do, it’s incredible annoying to face, and the skill cap is high. Your next problem though would be pairing with a hunter in 2s would be hard even as Feral or Resto, but I think it’d work better than the other plans so far.
Ideally Feral pairs with a Disc in 2s, and in 3s I do believe Feral/Hunter/Something is a comp, I just don’t know 3s

Is jungle cleave good in S5 or is that more of an S8 thing? I haven’t seen it talked about much on the recent tier lists or whatever.
For leveling double hunter is faceroll.
I was thinking one of us go BM and one of us go Survival for the AP buff. Thoughts?
Except most guilds will only slow in 1 hunter for wrath and only take a second if they are short on locks
The beast buff stacks so no reason not to stack hunters. You can run 1 trueshot if you want but it quickly becomes poop at max level.
For leveling?
Go BM. It’s pretty much God mode.
I mean, there’s very little in the open world you won’t be able to handle.
However, as always, do what’s fun.

If I do the double Hunter leveling idea with my friend, we would probably go SV/MM for our duo, not BM. We really aren’t big BM fans.
