How can they possibly look at it even with the double multiplier and say âYup, we did it boysâ.
This is the perfect honor amount.
Lower the cost of the gear or wipe it just like every other expansion.
At this point i wouldnât even be surprised that blizzard will reset hornor one day before the lunch without any heads up. It probaly going to be something like that, âmay 31â Hello everyone we believe the honor that some player have stocked is detrimental to the game so we are going to reset it. enjoy your TBC experience!
While the rest of the player base couldnât even farm the honnor to begin with at the rate we currently receiveâŚ

At the time of typing this I have played around 30 games of AB and after comparing numbers, I can say with 100% certainty that the â4xâ honor gains for AB weekend is not working as stated. I am only gaining the nerfed honor value (10% x2 due to the 100% increased honor buff) but NOT the additional 2x honor for playing the bg of the weekend.
Iâve done some simple math and I am averaging 900 honor per hour at level 60 while spamming AB Qs. This means it will take me ~44 hours before June 1st to earn enough honor just to get Main Hand and Off Hand weapons.
This canât possibly be what you intended.

AB weekend doesnt give 2x honor it makes you gain honor ticks every 200 resources instead of 330 (therefor its bad and not worth it honor wise because av is better)
The way they worded the post sounds like the bonus honor on the scoreboard will be doubled (due to +100% honor buff) and that THAT number should be doubled once again to give the new honor amount when playing the bg of the weekend (in this case AB). My scoreboard shows 220 bonus honor for winning AB and my honor pane is showing 440 honor gained which is only one instance of doubling, not the two that their post makes it sound like we should be getting (this was in a game with 0 hks).

Letâs put aside wording and semantics.
AB is currently giving 2x bonus honor than it did on Thursday. Not 4x. This is a fact. Itâs easily demonstrated by looking at your honor tab as it ticks every 200 ressource. Not talking about HKs here, simply bonus honor.
This means itâs 440 bonus honor for a win instead of the 880 it should be. Obviously if people are in a 2000-1980 game, you know the game lasted a while and their total honor gained with HKs might be ~600 like claimed in this thread, but that does NOT mean that the x4 is working. Use your brain people.
Current system incentivizes unfun behavior. Unless you can get in a premade that consistently gets 4 and 5 caps, itâs more efficient to lose AB intentionally and then go to AV for honor.
This is also in no way representative of the honor rate from original prepatch and 70 TBC. Honor came naturally as you grinded your marks back then. With the current rate, you will be capped on marks before you can buy more than 1-2 items.
Itâs also detrimental for those who wanted to accumulate honor for level 70. Blizzard already confirmed before that you will carry your honor with you into Outlands. If they change that as some people are calling for (which imo is pathetic but another topic entirely) they need to communicate that and fast.
We also need reassurance that the proper rate of honor gain will be at level 70. So far, I am far from convinced.

Do we know if this will be the random 1-10% damage dmf buff or the classic always 10% version?
- Kaivax nerfs honor by 10x.
- Kaiavx buffs honor by 2x.
Your honor is still nerfed 8x.

People are calculating honor gains from the pvp tab, not the scoreboard, and itâs not being consistent. The weekend is not fixed, call to ARms doesnât work, and the HKs are broken. How naive can you be?
The point isnât about the gear being replaced, the point of why people want to grind the gear is completely irrelevant to the issue actually.
Itâs simple, honor is not working as intended, the ratio between the grind and tbc patch is unrealistic.
Keep kissing as$ though, and make yourself look like a dumb as$ even more.

i cant figure out the point and feel like a dumba$$ haha, i have grinded non stop and im currently at 21k banked in full boosted gear with 80 av marks and 33 ab marks - - is the point to grind honor capped and bring it with me to 70 to buy pvp gear at that point, or is the point to buy the gear at 60 without any risk of losing the honor in a later wipe that people are thinking is coming to avoid us buying 70 pvp gear rite away?

Apparently the classic community is just as bad as people thought it was because blizzard wants the classic game to die, so they are gonna let it die. I posted asking for a blue post and people complained about it and got hidden lol, donât be a classic andy and be mad at me asking for a better honor system in a 2 week period. Get mad at the people who got 75k+ honor in 10 hours with a 10x exploit. At this point if people are gonna mute posts because they want the #nochanges then Ill go play retail where its actually hard, not tedious. Hard. Classic is a grind and tedious. Retail is a grind and hard with 500+ pulls on mythic fights or go play ffxiv or another mmorpg that actually replies to the community.

Most people are showing 60 in a lost, in 4 games I have a total of 1114 honor on bonus weekend, anyone can make an excel spreadsheet and toss up numbersâŚI vote Blizzard employee here making stuff up

So I see you made a few games with 1k total honor, looks like one was 2400 which would be great and only one was down to 230 total. Getting 1-2k would be acceptable at this point due to how bad everything is, this is still below what most games were in vanilla tbc total regardless of bonus honor. This obviously shows there is a huge disparity between a win and a loss, 230 compared to over 2k. For the teams that can win fast and earn more, yay, great, you have gear and a team and are probably earning it. This broken system is horrible and the people who say it is fine and just donât know better, your 2 cents is nerfed, sorry, there is no hotfix for you.
