People are stupid, for sure. Instantly blaming people for reading lines, and ignoring those that actually wrote them. It’s like people that hate actors (quite literally) for being too good at acting, like the natsies in fiddler on the roof. Obv those were regular people, but you hate them for being so convincing.
Humanity is plagued by idiots. It always has been and likely always will be.

The problem isn’t Twitter. The problem is people who misuse Twitter to spread this nonsense.
Whatever you dislike or like about a game, the people who worked on it don’t deserve to be threatened.
like that actor who wanted the covington kids to be put thru a woodchipper and expressed it on the internet, people of all walks of life appear to be coming unhinged.

I got to agree,it’s one thing to not enjoy a game,that’s fine to each their own but to threaten the life of someone whose doing their job and has literally NO creative control for the product they’re voicing for is pretty God damn disgusting [Hell, nobody deserves to feel unsafe]. It’s crap like this,incidents like this that continue to perpetuate the bad reputation gamers get of being loose cannons and hateful incels from the alt-right. Troy Baker and Abby’s model received similar hate too [the model and character weren’t trans turns out model’s just athletic AF]
This has always bothered me whether it be a game,TV show,movie any form of entertainment you get these douchebags who go levels beyond even a Karen at the smallest slight making threats of unspeakable harm and it really needs to stop. You’d think during a time of crisis we could set needless rage aside and be decent human beings to one another. To quote the 1st Bill&Ted “Be excellent to eachother.” That is all. Don’t be these buttholes…

Maybe I’m cynical/paranoid but seeing the threats she got… I dunno I just don’t think they are legit.
I mean I do think people sent them but I don’t think it was people who enjoy gaming or have even played one, just people who want to make the community look like monsters for clicks.

I saw the thread in question and those people definitely are unhinged. They were threatening her, her kids, her pets. It was sick. Jack needs to ban their accounts forever.
