A statement of truth can be said without it blaming the victim. Cause and effect.
Do you not agree if a action triggers an effect on a pure scientific level. Then if that cause is removed the effect would also be removed? Society isn’t much different. Other then you can’t completely remove the effect there will always be something but you can reduce it. Question only then becomes should you have to. But the statement of if they didn’t do this, then this would be reduced. Doesn’t blame them at all. That isn’t saying Hey this is your fault you deserve this. However if they preceive it as such…well then yeah that view is their fault.

I’m struggling a bit with what you’re saying but it’s for a dumb reason.
Borderline Personality Disorder. I deal with very black / white thinking so there are some issues where it just doesn’t register in my brain “Hey maybe they’re NOT being a super extreme thing.”
So if there is some gray area you’re talking about, my brain is seriously not wired to see it

I think you likely see it as the current culture does. Hence why I knew what was coming. Even if at the very base of it when you break it down the logic falls apart.
To make it simple though. Detached from emotion it’s nothing more then a cause and effect statement. No blame being assigned. When you put baking soda in Vinager nobody is blaming either two of the compounds for the end result.

I want to enjoy entertainers for their entertainment, not loathe them because I think their ideological and/or political opinions suck.
I’ve stopped watching a LOT of entertainers over the years, as well as sports and the like, over their opinions. They’d make more money and have less controversy around them if they’d stop acting like their opinions matter.
I don’t support bigots getting money so I think it’s a good thing she ran her mouth and outed herself. Granted it’s personal because I’m trans.

What scares me about these actors is the fact that they can be so convincing. Imagine being married to someone who can roleplay a killer. Or a liar. Or how do you know they are telling the truth if acting/pretending to do and be other things is their life?
