Not just the colour, but the shape. That gorgeous slant, and narrowness. Nightborne were squandered, and it’s the only reason this character isn’t one right now.
Hmmmm. . . I hope that Gnome comes up with something better! Because if that’s the only reason, I’m at a loss.
Sounds like there could be literally zero problems with adding tails to Worgen. Maybe the author would have to delete a tweet, but that’s about it.
Just for this because that’s not what they are actually called, I’m going to echo what others have already said and say nothing for Void Elves, they have gotten more than enough already.
I hope so too, because the only reason I could find that about Golden saying that Greymane is not supposed to have a tail has nothing but a link to her tweet saying that but no other mention as to why that can’t be a thing.
You raise a good point.
It’s about time blood elves got tattoos.
It’s also about time that a main race gets something that its copy doesn’t get, specially when it’s Farstriders tattoos, a Blood Elven organization.
It is clear that Midare and Naughtymoon are on a hateful mission on my thread to stop any and all requests to get customization for Void Elves. You are hateful because you no longer have a monopoly on Blood elves on Horde. It’s really petty.
We are not harming anyone, we are simply making our requests. We did not step into other threads telling people they cannot have something just because we are jealous. You are hurt because others got a toy you already had. Talk about self-entitled obsession.
It’d be nice to see them get more actual void options, to be honest. Seems like there’s this push to just morph them into high elves, which I personally have 0 interest in, but I’m hoping to more monstrous options added to them to really make them stand out. As of now, they just feel like blueberry blood elves, especially since everyone seems determined to give them all blood elf options. Option sharing is fine, I suppose (IF IT GOES BOTH WAYS, which, let’s be clear, it really hasn’t) but…more uniqueness would be great for fans of Thalassian elves in general. Same issue now with blood elves. There really is not much making either distinct.
Edit: And I’m not talking about tentacle hair, I just wish Blood Elves got void elf hair styles as well (without tentacles). If people want blonde, black, white, whatever, fine, but share hair styles both ways. I honestly don’t see the issue with such a request for equal option sharing in that case.
Interesting suggestions but I would much rather have the Night Fae satyrs and the Venthyr vampires join as allied races. The other parts you mentioned are fine of course.
I just want male Night Elves and Nightborne fixed. or added more young faces, not sure why Blizz insists on 1 young face, all others old.
99% of the male Night Elves are the same, using the same face because almost nobody like the others.
More hairstyles for Void Elves also sound good, NOT the ones Blood Elf got, not blonde hair either. Jet black and pure white would be nice. And hopefully not tentacle hair because WoW’s clipping is terrible and it just ruins many things.
Agreed for the other ideas. And people sour for Void Elves getting skin tones should sit down, as if more customization was a bad thing. I agree they should not look like Blood Elves, but this Alliance vs Horde competition should be left in the lore and the door, not customizations.
I fully support both Blood elves and Void elves having unique options. For example Blood elves can get Dark Ranger and San’Layn customizations while Void elves already have their unique Void options, and can get some light hair colors to fulfill the High elf request. That way both elves can have High elf hair options. OR, alternatively, Void elves could be given Astral white and Void Blonde hair options, while Blood elves get Dark ranger and San’Layn options added.
Hateful, maybe, rightfully annoyed, definitely. You should never have gotten our model in the first place but here we are after years of complaining, and nothing has changed. You lot are still complaining and will stop and nothing short of completely taking over the Blood Elf aesthetic. Crikey you even have people who want Silvermoon for the Alliance now.
You can see why we are a bit testy when people ask for more Void Elf options.
