Don't forget Allied Races in 9.1

I never said dead last, I’m talking the races I specified only. Everyone else is well off enough.

Again, Blood Elves aren’t and AR and this is off topic.

But I support options that further Blood Elven identity and set them apart from Void Elves and everyone else.

Which is not the arbitrary gatekeeping of basic options.

Which is a fairly universal and basic aesthetic, hardly unique to Blood Elves.

Not as much of a discussion, but rather straight up disagreement as we’re both free to do.

And that’s fine.

I will go ahead and continue to ask for development in both aesthetics, myself.

Mechagnomes require a customization overhaul. They’re the one race that would get a HUGE boost of popularity if they had functional armor use on arms and legs. (With the option for non-armor limbs as they currently have.)

Assymetrical design is the HUGE perk of mechanics that Blizzard failed to capture for Mechagnomes. One robotic arm and one normal? Why not one claw arm and one normal mechanical arm? Desyncing the facial augmentations and the like. There’s also a need for new paint jobs for the mechanics, Color changes for the blue irisis. etc.

Mechagnomes need a LOT of love to match their rival Allied Race. Strictly including distinct male / female dances. Females need a new dance that isn’t a mirror of the males. NOBODY ELSE has this level of laziness in their dance. (Kul Tiran Female comes close given how badly looped it is.)

Not in terms of VEs.

It is unfair to continue to advocate for things to bring VEs closer to look like BEs and claim that has no effect on BEs.

The question you are asking without asking and trying to dance around by saying “well gnomes have regular hair it’s not unique to BEs” or “oh well we will use Kul Tiran options to achieve the look instead” is should Blizzard continue to make VEs look like BEs via their secondary theme which does infringe on BEs visual theme.

To that I say no, obviously you are an advocate of that route, but don’t claim it has no effect on BEs.

If they use natural different shades and styles, then no, it has no bearing on Blood Elves.

But again, Blood Elves aren’t an AR and aren’t relevant to the topic.

This just sounds like making them look like BEs but with extra steps.

Well, I’m glad I missed this thread.

Jeeeeeeeesus.

and what about it? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I also want to say I have not listed a single thing I want to see for BEs in this thread for this reason.

But as someone who in the past who has both said and supported people who have said you can’t tell people not to request something, in turn you also can’t tell people not to oppose something.

Peoples dissent involves BEs so they will then be brought up as pertaining argument. And for people who work very hard for the “you can’t say we can’t request” despite most of these arguments being said to people just disagreeing, I find it odd to try to stop dissent by deeming what you know their arguments entail as now “off limits”.

Just say you want them to look like BEs, then. Dancing about and playing games just to obfuscate what you want is a bad look and, frankly, plain annoying.

You want BEs on the Alliance, fine, fair enough; but don’t pretend like it wouldn’t affect BEs. Being neutral affected the Pandaren and it’ll affect the elves, too.

Exactly, blonde hair is blonde hair, red hair is red hair, brunette is brunette, it doesn’t matter the shade or the style it still infringes on what little visual difference that Blood elves have remaining.

okay i want them to look like blood elves  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Nor in any thread in quite a while, yet you seem awfully preoccupied with us.

I never said you couldn’t, but I don’t really think this is the proper time nor place.

Nor does that mean I have to observe your arguments.

Again this isn’t really the best time nor place.

Especially if we’re not going to observe your arguments, it just seems like a waste of time on your part.

There’s another real fun round a little over a hundred posts below.

And the person it came from isn’t what you or I would call surprising.

This thread started burning down today, for some reason.

I def think if people are requesting options on VEs to further bring them in line with the BE visual theme it is the time and place to list dissent, yes.

Going back on topic, I feel these would be the best color options for natural hair colors for Void Elves;

I especially like the contrast between the unnatural skin and the natural hair colors.

my response was a joke, you don’t have to cite me in your thesis :sob:

White and black working for the Void theme is a plus too, while the rest are just more arguments for Blizzard to continue to make VEs look like BEs.

I disagree, there’s room for every color

Tbh I thought that went without saying.

Some people go out of their way to bring drama.
