Don't forget Allied Races in 9.1

Lol, I’m guilty of actually buying the Spite Darter transmog, actually I think almost my whole server is because of the fae wings. :joy: :joy: :joy:

Also this I would be mostly okay with depending on race and the customization options that got shared.

I got it from my sub, and while the whole outfit isn’t really my cup of tea, I was very pleased to get it because I can use some of the pieces for custom outfits. The pants and boots in particular are quite versatile.

I did find a use for the wings and boots already:

I am not fan of the open toed boots of the Night Fae cloth sets, and I think the wings look better than the shoulders that go with that set.

I hope we only get stuff like the foremane and fur colors ported from normal tauren while stuff like paint tries to use the different style used by HMT.

Well I wouldn’t mind getting the flower options for my HMT >_> even if they are a different color or something.

Oh yeah the flower is fine, I mean things like jewelry and body paint that can show the different IRL inspiration for HMT as opposed to regular tauren.

I want onyx skintones for LFD.

I want a perma EE skintone for Void Elves. I want more Void stuff.

for sure, I don’t mind Lightforge having similar hairstyles, jewerly, or skintones to their core counterpart. Figure I try to help to seperate them so that people don’t just called them draeneis with golden eyes, or that they don’t have enough diffence to be called an allied race.

I’d like a “perma-entropic embrace” skin and hair color options as well!

its unlikely to happen but it would be nice if HMtauren’s heritage armor had the totems separate from the chest and be the back slot instead like regular tauren. I don’t think this would cause issue as there isn’t already a cloak in that set

I would also like to see them seperate the totem from the chest piece and into the back slot.

Yea more unique options are preferable. I just expect a lot of asset sharing since it saves time and money. I have some small experience in game development, and any opportunity to save time and money are highly considered by the people holding the purse strings.

Making variants of existing assets is usually the win/win middleground since it’s still making something “new”-ish but reusing an existing asset as a base, which saves both time and money.

That would be pretty cool… or even better just make it a customization/accessory option in character creation/barber so you can wear a cloak too!

I know myself and other Void Elf players wouldn’t mind the same to happen to our heritage void wings so we can use them with other outfits and not have that collar popping out and clashing.

Can female tauren get doe-shaped eyes? These piggy eyes are ridiculous. Closing my mouth would be a bonus as well

Definitely like the idea of attaching 3D objects onto the characters as customization. it would make transmogging much easier to set up.

The model is bad because they are night elves with a different idle stance. Both should be redone.

I’d really like to see Blizzard go the distance with Nightborne though, and give their model an overhaul so they look like the NPC’s. I mean yea, I want more hairstyles, colors, skin tones, etc too, but the model, and especially the old/angry male faces, really need a redo.

The tech already exists as we can see with Draenei jewelry options. I don’t see why the same couldn’t be done with other races and racial specific accessories like the totem or wings.

Well then. Now that we’re all on the same page, I thought I’d bring up some ideas from other players. I took some screenshots of a Nightborne model in Nighthold.

Let me know what you guys think about adding in glowing hands and hair customization to the playable models:

The glowy hands and arcanic hair could 100% be customization triggers similar to NEs leaves in the hair. They need to happen.

The content they do needs art to be done, thus the art department is utilized for that. Think before you speak.
