Don't do Fated Raids base achievement limited time content

The base achievement could be completed via LFR Fated Raid, that’s it, you’ll have the mount.

So, why remove this achievement and mount after S4? , if it’s like a participation reward, new and returning players will miss on this mount and then we’ll have comments like the one provided by Ion talking that we don’t have new mount achievements because they’ve concerns about all the promotional, removed mounts and how the new players will feel.

If Devs really want to promove the game to new players, they shouldn’t remove a mount that requires only LFR gameplay, let new players comeback to shadowlands with their friends at some point and get those rewards like all the other Mythic mounts that change from 100% drop to 1%, or include it to a low drop chance but don’t remove content.

EDIT: Blizzard could escalate this content like mage tower if the “challenge” of the moment is the reason, which it’s not a challenge at all with LFR.

It’s cool to have incentives to play content when it’s current/relevant. Feels bad to look at something and know that you can just do it later with less effort.

It’s LFR content, I’ll doubt effort, removing content also impact other players like that comment from Ion during MrGm Interview, Why can’t we have new mount achievements more frequently? Because this kind of strategy that some call FOMO, it’s ok for some few mounts related to pvp like gladiator that requires a lvl of skill with the class at that point of time or KSM, but this will be an incredible mount that a lot of new players will miss, just removing content that could incentive those players to collect mounts.

Just look at Vicious mounts, those comeback via a token during later expansions, that’s a good participation mount.

are they actually removing it?

that’s so dumb.

I say keep slime cat in for any new players that redo shadowlands content.

Tired of blizzard adding stuff in game that’s time sensitive.

Already wish the pvp recolors were available but slime cats are pretty special.

Most players will do LFR and call it a day, I’ll be really busy during August due to work, so LFR, also my core just left the game or playing casually until DF

Probably, it’ll be the only slime cat in the game, it could be a good cosmetic for new players, if I recruit a friend, I could bring that person to old content and help with that reward, this kind of limited content impact old and new players.

It’s an offensive take on a game which rewards doing much at your own leisure. FOMO needs reduced to a minimum.

I genuinely didnt kow fated raids had an LFR mode… I might resub after all.

Yea. It also takes away from the gane’s replayability.

Blizzard could even escalate the raid like Mage Tower, so it could be some kind of challenge but removing the mount from the game just impact the game overall.

Also have I missed it or have they released very little information on exactly how season 4 will work?

Considering Fated is only a season affix, yep.

It could be a permanent rotation and do something similar to mage tower for a challenge.

It shouldn’t exist at all, imo. This is a lazy way of “adding” more “content,” when it’s just rehashed stuff with a “new” label slapped on it and a limited time reward. The entire concept is bad, imo.

Agree, it’s just the best carrot that Devs found to keep players until 10.0

Well… it’s not a carrot for me. They won’t do anything for ZM content in this new season. So now LFR surpasses my open world progression.

I saw your big thread, really good. Same, I expected something for World content, maybe some upgrade to WQs gear or ZM with cipher and sandworm relics that lost their point at this time.

I can’t think of a single time I’ve ever felt like this in game. I can recall many times I’ve been sad I couldn’t get something that was no longer available.
