Don't Bring Joyous Journeys Back

just buy a boost if leveling is so miserable

That requires a second account and sub.

it requires you to have a set. Retail is for the quick and patientless. Leave classic alone, but i am not against joyous if it is very short term. It helps gets players like you moving, you know like a carrot on a stick

What are you on about a set?

It encourages players to level. You classic andys carry on about the world being too empty and non social yet the one feature that is encouraging social interaction and making the world seem alive, you want to remove.

Yet again I ask. Are you all that miserable that you want to discourage people from using something they enjoy?

You are aware you can turn the xp buff of are you not?

None of the last two posts of yours has made any sense.

looms maybe? They are motivating.

I had one of the most motivated alliance WG"s last night I have ever seen. I’d say at least half were going I need this win. do not mess it up. we do not jsut win, we crush.

final points and zone control to buy looms was their angle. I rarely see alliance that blood thirsty. It was inspiring . we gave horde nothing. we took everything.

I am so short on points that didn’t matter. I was about collecting skulls for elune’s skull throne. or was that khorne?

You think Blizzard when they decided to make Wow thought " Lets make it incredibly slow and boring ". That will keep the players happy.

The whole point of classic Wow was to give the players a casual mmorpg experience rather then a hardcore experience like Runescape, Everquest and other mmorpgs of that time.

There is a reason why subs peaked in Wrath. They peaked in part due to the casual leveling experience compared to vanilla wow.

Just today during joyus journey leveling I spent a lot of the day joining groups, buffing players and healing players while leveling.

That didnt happen 1 week before joyus journeys. The world was empty.

good to hear. I saw this this since turn on last night but not many out on my server. Northrend or tanaris. I worked the 72 dk and 46 hunter a bit.

with it now known hope it gets more out for the hunter.

or least more into AV for the DK. that was dead lst night 71 to 79 when i played.

Most are waiting for the AV weekend on 23rd Dec when it comes to BG leveling. That will be massive xp per AV.

So do you unironically think that we should be allowed to use flying mounts through 100% of all dungeons and raids? Yes or no.

"Leave me alone to avoid playing the game as much as possible. I HATE playing the game.

Irrelevant. It wasn’t in the original game and it shouldn’t be in classic. Just add RAF like the original game or don’t have it at all. And yes I turned it off. I don’t care. It shouldn’t be in the game.

So if you dont care then why all the big fuss about taking it away?

I said that I don’t care that I have the ability to turn it off. It doesn’t fix the problem. I care that the problem is still there. I don’t care that I have the ability to turn it off. Not that I don’t care about the stupid buff that shouldn’t exist.

And as for your “there’s more people playing one day after the change” argument… yeah there would be more people playing if Blizzard told everyone that if they log in for this week they’ll get free 5k gold for every hour they’re logged in. The fact that more people temporarily login on the week of the change is not an argument to make changes to classic.

Nokhud from retail has me say…yes. walk that crap? I don’t think so.

Hate the dungeon but likes its spirit. It tries to work off build content around flying. I can say it was a nice attempt.

My bias is more player based. dudes copping attitudes when I said its my first time may ahve put me in an off mood.

They are your words.

So… you think flying mounts should be allowed throughout ALL end-game pve dungeons and raids. Yes or no? You didn’t really answer the question.

If your answer is yes then I strongly disagree and I think that people should be forced to clear mobs to get to a boss… and all the bosses before it. Not just… go directly to the boss. The idea that you should be able to skip everything in a dungeon except the boss you want to go to kinda would destroy the whole game.

not closed corridor ones. that be lore breaking. one should not fly indoors. ground mounts…yes. after wipes its a long walk for empty halls.

Now halls of valor for kill fenryr? (legion dungeon) its open, blue skies…lets fly. internal boss like the valkyr to be promoted? no. its indoors.

For fenryr and at this point most have worked out pathing to avoid most trash mobs. and if really stuck…rogue shroud.

An aoe 15 to 30 second cloak for the party. used quite often in retail to skip bits of dungeon.

also helps rogue get mythic spots too. since their dps can be replaced. its shroud that says we take the rogue sometimes.

Hey pal, don’t take your anger at being reported out on me, I didn’t report you. I agree that you have a right to express your own opinion, as comical as it seems.

Do you want an argument instead of modest amusement? Fine. The 50% exp buff encourages new players and max level players with alts to level through a dead old world. I created a low level alt as a result of JJ, and I ran through old content to level 12 in 2 hours (along with some heirloom items). I saw some people out there a long the way doing the same thing.

This is a positive change as opposed to a bunch of 80’s sitting in Dalaran. If you feel that breaks the integrity of the game, then it’s up to you to save Azeroth Classic by bringing in so many new players that Blizzard doesn’t need JJ so people can run SFK or BFD on the regular let alone the later dungeons.

I’m going to be honest with you, WOTLK Classic is my first Wrath experience and roughly 50% of it is boring enough during the levelling process that this is a positive change. Between Wrathgate and Ice Crown Citadel is a stretch of adventure where you’re committed to hunting animals and hanging out with pseudo-vikings and their gods until you get to 78. None of that has anything to do with the main mission which is to Stop Arthas. No one is missing out on anything with a 50% exp buff to breeze through those filler zones.
