I guess the “newest” zones arent that new… Personally ive spent many hours probably 100s of hours leveling through them from when wotlk originally released and through the many countless xpacs after it. If it helps encourage more people to jump aboard im all for it

What next you want wrath to bring back attunements from vanilla/tbc so players would be forced to play more of the game?
You want to make every single player beat every quest in desolace before they can progress to any other zone? Well get this i hated attunements and i hate desolace so i avoided em.

Imagine equating a % boost to exp gain as cheating. You are not skipping levels. You still have to exist at each level at some point until you stop leveling by choice or force. Following that up, leveling is not the whole game. It never was. It was always a journey, but only now its joyous. Leveling to me is no different than customization at the character create menu, it is a means to an end, and my focus is on the end. Has been for 17 years.
Plug the games youve worked on tho, itll give me a list of tedius games to avoid if you want to call 100+ hours of reused content “fun and meaingful”.

One common feature of “game developers” is EGO. As in massively inflated ego. They know better than their customers what makes a great game. That is why wildstar has such a thriving community. They put all of their personal kinks into the game, their monkey paw decisions. The players leave and they blame the players for the disaster that is their game.
