which main? This one?
Maybe this one?
or maybe this one?
must be this one, guess blizzard doesnât update avatars unless you log out and back in
let me know if you need help with 10m 3d sarth
I think is a good idea
how dare other people get to have fun when and get an XP boost for leveling!!! how dare you betray the spirit of classic blizz!!! what is the meaning of this XP boost to leveling!!! why wonât you think of the children blizz!!!
yeah i think you are right
Right, and itâs fair to frame it that way.
I could argue why some of those changes make sense and would result in a better gameplay experience for us but in the context of the JJ change, I actually support it so I will leave it at that.
Up to the OP if he wants to justify those changes and explain why itâs different for JJ.
Cheers.
This has to be the most idiotic comment I have seen.
One, who cares what another player does. In WoW what another player does to get to level cap has ZERO impact on any other player. So this whole mentality is just you wanting to stick your nose into places that it does not belong.
Second, WTF do you mean, ânot play the gameâ. Hey everyone, not sure you knew this but when you hit 80 you might as well uninstall Classic, because there is no more game to play, according to this logic.
Seriously, you are part of what is making WoW die. This is more toxicity for no other reason than you just cannot keep your nose out of other peoples business and want to impose your morals and play style on others when it is not needed or wanted.
JJ, RDF, Boosts, RAF⌠all of these are systems that are 100% optional, impact no one but the player using them, and take away or change nothing about the game experience for anyone else. Anyone who tries to claim otherwise is just insane.
âitâs not an opinionâ -this guy as heâs giving his opinion
âA buff that is available to everyone globally and automatically is the same thing as an xp buff that required you to actually find someone who isnât subscribed to WoW and have them start playing WoW with you and additionally only worked when they were within close proximity to each otherâ How about we not play silly games and pretend that things that are clearly not even similar the same thing.
Thatâd be just as ridiculous as saying âWell we had heirlooms that gave us a 50% xp bonus (or whatever it is) so its perfectly reasonable for Blizzard to give us heirlooms that have a 500% xp bonus. An xp bonus is an xp bonus!â You can pretend that apples to oranges comparisons are a valid logical thing to do, however actually intelligent people wonât buy it.
This is exactly what it is no matter how you slice it. People have created this mentality that leveling is a chore and an obstacle to be gotten over as quickly as possible and that they want to just âget to max lvl alreadyâ That isnât what the game is for and if players canât deal with leveling in an RPG then maybe they should stop playing RPGs or stop making alts and demanding that they all be max lvl.
âWAAAAAHHH!! How DARE you suggest I actually have to PLAY THE GAME without my play time being reduced artificially by a buff that never existed in the original game! How DARE you suggest that classic shouldnât keep being made closer and closer to retail! Youâre evil! Now Iâm gonna report you for trolling! Ha!â
People like you are exactly the reason retail is failing. Because reducing how much time and effort it takes to get rewards is constantly being advocated and Blizzard constantly keeps losing. People like you just want to be given what you want and get it done with zero time investment. Your casual âlet me get everything fasterâ mentality is completely antithetical to videogames in general. Game designers are supposed to make it DIFFICULT for you to beat the game, not constantly make it easier and faster.
Yeah more proof you never played original Wrath.
Zero arguments detected. I know what you think youâre saying and how youâre gonna try to say âoh it was SO easy for EVERYONE to get RAFâ no it wasnât. You never played wrath. I did. I played since BC. Either make a coherent argument or move on
Take a deep breath.
Relax.
Itâll all be ok.
It sure will be when hundreds of players see my post and start making their own posts saying the same thing and Blizzard realizes they canât just keep JJ on perpetually. Or at the very least reduces it to 1-70 only
I thought RAF was actually intended for someone to start up a new account, collect the rewards and power level your alts.
No one really used it to recruit an actual friend.
OMG dude. You clearly have no clue what you are talking about.
First The only requirement for RAF was two accounts to be linked. There was no rules about who the 2 accounts were owned by. Second it was available to everyone. All it took was a trip to the store to get a WoW battlechest for $9.99 and to go to the RAF page and setup up the new copy.
Bingo, done, you now had 300% EXP.
Anyone who actually played Wrath knew and did this.
Xp boosts during the holidays is fairly standard in older mmorpgs.
Also half your questions are answered in the announcementâŚI hate people like you.
Itâs blatantly obvious to everyone that you could take advantage of the system by making multiple accounts. But just because YOU did something doesnât mean most of us, who were kids back when Wrath existed, had the money to make two accounts. And like I said THE XP BUFF ONLY WORKED IF YOU WERE PROXIMITY TO THE OTHER ACCOUNTâS CHARACTERS. Which, for a kid with no money, would mean having to have two computers, because multiboxxing was far beyond the abilities of most teenagers back then.
I hate people like you too. Just because Blizzard says something is only going to last for x amount of time doesnât mean theyâre not gonna change their mind and just leave it on permanently because they think itll make them more money. And regardless⌠it doesnât matter. It wasnât in the original game so it doesnât belong in Classic. Idc what is standard in older mmorpgs. Itâs classic WoW Wrath of the Lich King. Itâs not retail, its not guild wars or runesecape.
Youâre being kinda naive hereâŚ
SeriouslyâŚ
