I am opposite of the OP. I think it should be made permanent.
I really do not think it makes things too quick, it makes them “Just right”.
If it really bother ppl, they can turn it off. If they don’t want to turn it off then make it OFF BY DEFAULT, and let us turn it on at an inn. It makes the forced leveling of mules (because of that annoying level requirement for craft training - that should be done away with IMHO) much more bearable and in some case, even fun.
But that’s just me. I managed without it and I manage with it. If I have the choice I’d like to keep it permanent, at least level 1-70.
