When the opposing team doesn’t play they deny both sides of the game they signed up for. Play or don’t queue.

I know false flagging is not allowed. These players are cheating by not participating. it’s lumped in with exploiting (AKA a form of cheating) right in the email from Blizzard so they think so too.
Do you know what is false flagging? Reporting someone for AFKing when they are actively participating like some of these premades are doing.
Anyway, I don’t think we are on the same wavelength with this whole thing so I’m done discussing it with you.
I think we’ve hit on a lot of problems - one of the ones that stands out is that some people do not want to BG but are forced to BG to be able be competitive in Arena.
In the original TBC game, designers realized that certain players wanted to focus on PvP and others on PvE and created gear that supported their interests.
What we’re seeing now is that PvP is too broad of a category that can be split to Arena and BGs. There’s a large player base that only wants to play Arena and one that only wants to play BGs. As a result, we have players that do not play the game as intended currently in BGs. I’d expect the same issue of non-participation (win-trading or purposely losing for 10 games) in Arenas.
My recommendation is that Blizzard create a way for players to purchase all PvP gear with either Honor Points or Arena Points. In this way, a player that only cares about Arena does not have step in to a BG unless they want to enjoy the game. (Alternatively, Blizzard can add Honor Points for skirmishes).

I understand this might be hard thing to understand for someone of lukewarm intelligence, but some people actually enjoy playing bgs.

The biggest problem is there are already people who get upset at the very idea of even RBGs in TBC. They feel that people who prefer a different type of PVP should be forced to do arenas to be competitive… and yes the arena junkies have to do BGs too for gear which they may not like. With the strong “no changes” on this, I can’t see it happening, but I do agree with you.
Another problem is simply that people are trying to gear their crappy geared alts and boosted toons so even a lot of non-PVP focused people are queueing for BGs right now and not actually wanting to play.
Tell your friend to press autowalk and run into die next time.
Reporters look at dots moving on screen and stats. You need to run up the death count at least for a “new” stat often.
Had this issue in retail bg’s. Reportde AFK. when I was there defending BT in WG. Not alot of enemy showing up. My strat if say NE or a stealthy is use the stealth/shadowmeld and wait for 1 to 2 people going oh…its undefended.
And jump them. It makes NE DK fun for sure lol.
No one shows up…you are a not moving dot (a melded NE DK can’t move) with no stat changes. Hello load screen on report by some moron.

This post is frustrating to read. This feels like a gold seller, botter, gold buyer, flyhacker or some other kind of win trader trying to justify their cheating to me and then tell me that I’m the problem for opposing it.

yeah…they won’t get much empathy here.
Horde to me are the worst offenders of farming CTF BG’s. 2 flags down, alliance wiped and on gy cd. Just run that last flag and put us out of our misery.
Nope…they farm you for minutes.
So horde suffering…is karma. When I saw this crap as horde I’d run that flag. Or get kicked by afk report as I ran it by the farmers. No need to make a CTF longer than they need to be.

They should tweak so winning provides more than losing quick. Ban people and then others op out and the system is even more crap.
And players are quitting retail because of rating requirements.

What if you don’t enjoy BGs but enjoy other things? Its all nice and great to say what about playing the game but some people enjoy different parts of the game. The prepatch is also insanely short so people are trying to gear out quickly. Chill out with your high-horse stuff
Is it not denying you the game you signed up for when my (winning) premade rolls over you and you finish a game of AB with zero resources and zero HKs? Are you advocating banning anyone who does too well or too poorly in a BG?
Not everyone can get into that level of premade, but for those people there’s other options. For some people, like fresh boosts, a losing premade is unironically their best option for getting gear. Why is it that I’m allowed to make a premade that will make games unfun for you, but they aren’t allowed to?
Because blizzard said so. Play the game or don’t queue.

It’s simple. I don’t force myself to play a part of a game I don’t enjoy. There isn’t any high horse to be on.
Please enlighten me. Why would someone spend time playing a game and doing activities they don’t enjoy? That just defies all logic. Way too many of you take this game way, way too seriously. A game is meant to be an activity meant for enjoyment, but yet you force yourself to do things you don’t enjoy in a game? That’s dumbfounding. But wait, you aren’t even playing! You are exploiting game mechanics to not play a game. What a waste of time.
And before you accuse me of being on my high horse once again, I used to be addicted to this game back in Vanilla, way too much. When I realized how hooked I was and once the game started feeling more like a job than actual fun, I quit. I quit for years. When I returned, I returned with a different mindset. I only play and do what is actually enjoyable to me. I don’t stress or focus on what I should or need to do. I have to do that enough in real life. When I have time to play I play what is fun to me at the moment. Nothing more and nothing less.
You all are wanting to abuse game mechanics. Afk’ing in bg’s has been an actionable offense for a very long time in WoW. It’s crazy to me how many of you play a game, but then go to extreme lengths to avoid playing. Insanity.
