It’s not. Being max level doesn’t mean you can play the game well or clear all the content the moment you attempt it. You also are forgetting the fact that you still have to get 12 levels just to do the end game content.
By your definition.
Obviously people disagree with you and you aren’t going to change your mind, and surprise they aren’t changing their minds, because they have a different opinion of what P2W is.
Yes, exactly. The OP and most of the anti boosters knows exactly 100% without a shadow of the doubt what that feels like.
After reading the title of this post, all I can think about is “Don’t Cha” By Pussycat Dolls ft. Busta Rhymes.
“A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.”
I’d love to hear from people who are thinking of joining Classic as a fresh account when TBC launches.
I’d love to hear from them a month after they take the boost.
“Excuse me, Mr. Boostee? Can you tell us why you quit the game?”
“No time to play. Same reason I didn’t level up myself in the first place.”
Is this like the go to made up cop out fallback response?
“they’ll just quit!”
They say as I watched hundreds who did level quit. Grinding the levels doesnt seem to be the determining factor in staying. In fact it seems to be the ones who love the endgame who stick around. All the more reason to get them to the endgame faster.
Clowns in the comments thinking that WoW Token isn’t pay2win
I’m just taking a stab here… but I think boredom and factors outside the game have more to do with folks quitting. Just a hunch.
In phase 2?!
Phase 2 was boring for some, sure.
Since there’s nothing in WoW that’s P2W I guess we already have it.
Boosts and WoW Token for gold is pay to win. Don’t even try to argue it, as it will only make you seem more foolish than the rest of the 19,000 forum posts you have made crying about anti-boosters.
Boosts aren’t pay to win though.
Actually they are. They put you ahead of level one. That is an advantage.

You could add in summer vacations and all the outdoor stuff. Lots of people will take time out for that.
They put you ahead of level one.
A level 58 is higher than a level 1 and therefore is at an advantage? Guess we should revert everyone back to level 1 in pre-patch.
Level 58 is how you win in this game? Oh damnnnn, soooo close, 5 levels to go boiiiis!
In the future
Possibly
K.
Sure, but some just didn’t care for the end game despite leveling.
My point was and is that leveling doesn’t determine a player staying
Guess we should revert everyone back to level 1 in pre-patch.
Some people would be fine with that. But rather than inflicting it on those who aren’t we are asking for a couple fresh servers.
Then here come the folks against that too, saying that those servers will die and they are trying to “protect us from our miserable fates” LOL
I don’t think you understand the difference between pay for convenience vs pay to win.
