Trying out this talent, every player returns “Invalid Target.” Mind Control works fine, but not Dominate Mind.
Is this intentionally disabled in arenas, a bug, or am I missing something?
Last I remember this couldn’t be used on players.
The implications would be laughable at best.

It is quite literally written in the spell description that it cannot be used on players.

Since it reads “Does not work versus Demonic, Mechanical, or Undead beings or players.” with a second “or” and no oxford comma, I took that as meaning it couldn’t be used on Demonic, Mechanical, or undead players - eg: Demon hunters, diaper gnomes, and forsaken.
I appreciate the clarification, though.

He’s right. The language does not preclude this spell from being usable on non-undead players.
“Does not work versus Demonic, Mechanical, or Undead beings or players.”
If they want it to read that way then it should be:
“Does not work versus Demonic, Mechanical, Undead beings, or players.”

I was super disappointed when I discovered, after coming back from a long break, that this didn’t work on players. It should at least work somewhat similar to cyclone in my opinion as MC is SO situational that most don’t run it in Arenas. It’s fun as hell in WPvP and Battlegrounds though.
